I want to say ggs to all that ive been playing, Rodney in general for understanding what im doing and coming up with good answers for my traps. Denkai for his offensive Jacky, forcing me to seek interrupt opportunities and Overfeind for reminding me that (ppp) in evo was 8 frames. Our Jacky vs Nessa was strange as hell, no punches! I was Lmfao! Dr Fam for giving me many many fights as well as Akira Zero. JcBlack for giving me counter hit opportunities. Hurricain Strain for abare practice, and White worm for Vannesa mirrors, that was funny as hell. Im glad to be back. And last but not least ! Xyz987 for reminding me that Jeff is a bad matchup vs his Eileen monster abare machine.

GGs to Dr.Familia. Not sure what was going on with the lag, that's why I bounced after about 5 matches. Our first few were lag free but then... yikes! It's too bad because we haven't played forever.

    Also GGs to:

Carmarco (good Italian (I think) player)
    Geryon86
    OhNoYouDidnt VF
    VF Granny

GG to KingofCarnageVF - I was trying to find a groove and stick with it in our Vanessa v Jacky battles. You seem to want to attack at certain moments with a big powerful combo but against certain people.. it not gonna come often. I was having fun trying to show you that the [3][K] don't work that much anymore 3 years later lol!! as for the Jeffry matches.. i CAN'T STAND JEFF cause of his damage output and auto 2 pieces. You seem more agressive with him on the offensive side so i just wanted to remind im the faster striker with the [P][P][P]. Sometimes i like to see the reaction of my opponent when they get hit with it.

GG to Denkai - 2 hours worth of VF5 after trying to show you the ropes in Gears 3 lmao!! Thanks for showing me the ins and outs of a Invasive Lau. Damn i wish we could've recorded all of this.

@SDS - LOL I was just about to write the exact same question. Either I was rusty and playing slow yesterday or this guy is just too damn fast. His stepping skills are blazing fast! With a 2-bar ping I'm sure lag can be anywhere from 100 to 200 milliseconds, which is very playable in my opinion, however there were so many times where I would go for what I thought was a guaranteed or nearly guaranteed throw and he would already have backed up way far away from my grasp. Not only that, he was nearly impervious to any Shunanigans I used.

The best 2-bar pings I've played are Denkai and Rodnutz. If it wasn't one of these two then I have no idea. The playstyle definitely seemed American though. I still think it's amazing that the best American vs best Japanese can still easily be discerned by style.

GGs whoever you are. Unfortunately my internet connection went out during our 8th or so match. I wanted to play more.

WAIT! I just thought of something. When I joined his session he beat me the first two games, then I beat him one, then he beat me one, and then he quit. Now that I think about it this has Happy Friend written all over it. I joined again because it was fun and I refused to be done yet. Which we then played a few more until my connection dropped.

The more I think about it the style was similar, but if it was Happy he has definitely upped his stepping skills to the Nth degree!

That would be rodnutz for sure. Fooling around with Vanessa, when I played this GT.

GGS soulkatana, but you're like mitsugura: no defensive technics, and DM P+K will not help you in FS.... since it's gone.

I agree, it must be Rodney. His stepping, throw escaping and Yomi has Konjou written all over it. I know he hates Nessa but I also remember that early on he used Brad.

Nah he is Good Jhow... Gotta give him that. Whats funny is won the first 2 then he start going off with stepping and Ninja tatics just in and out.He had a 4 game streak later on then i got a 4 game streak. He was using Lau and i never known Konjou to use Lau. It was a decent connection. I had to suck it up at time because i was crouching throws and TE'ing only to get caught by lag lol!
On some other shit Jhow it like i could'nt avoid his Elbow.. no fuzzy or backstep could'nt get away from it. He would run from me at times and only use half of the moveset that has crazy priority online. Its all good though. He knew the game so it was fun. We had like 2 bars so it could'nt be Konjou or Denkai i get 3 with them.

I have no idea who ZippingCrayon is that some of you guys are referring to, but I do know I had a hell of a lot of fun going up against him/her Lau last night. Win or lose, I love playing fast, relentless, aggressive in-your-face type of fights.

Also really good games against Stl Tm and his Goh.

In the sets I played against them, they both took full advantage of my lousy defense for stretches as they should. I'm not sweating it though since I believe it's not anything more than just getting my timing back in sync in order to clean up a lot of my current issues.

GGs to everyone I've play recently, and sorry about that I switched around and randomly disconnect from XBL. Suffering bad ISP and it's a nightmare....

GGs to you too VFAwesome, thanks for the long sessions. It's very impressive that your stepping skill is so mature, and I barely can follow your tempo to be honest. When you joined my game the first time, I though you were Slide coz no one on the west coast could step and move that fast:) Sorry about the connection was becoming bad toward the end, but overall it's very stable according to the locations we are. It's like someone sitting next to me.:) Hopefully next time we can hang out during the Norcal and Socal gatherings.

GGs earlier today to Tony, thanks for the games as always.

GGs to AirJacky for the long sessions the other day, and of course GGs to Jeff as being my VF partner:)

Yes, your spacing becomes very powerful and I need to rebuild my habits against it. It's very difficult to actually try to throw you especially when you mix abare up. You could tell my Wolf was pretty much handicapped during our games:) However, there are couple scenes which are too obvious you autopilot. For example, Goh's 6PP NH(-1 for you) and his 2P after BT turn(-2 for you), so next time you should "make sure" do I block or not. About your Eileen and Lion, abaring shoulder and uppercut has becomes your main patterns, and I could tell you just try to do some experiments. OMP follow by Eileen's air flip kick also becomes your mark so all I have to do is wait, or randomly do shit such as Kage's 9K. Also, rising high kick NH gives me at least +2, and
my Wolf has plenty of time window doing screw hooks oniline, unless your purpose is trying to avoid being thrown, otherwise I don't see any pros abaring there.

Keep in mind we all have to adapt, especially we have been playing with each other for that long. Expose my bad habits such as rising kick, and you should be able to deal with me.

Seidon The God of Battle walks alongside me! Content Mgr El Blaze

    GGs to KOC and Settra.

    Just a couple of notes.

KoC, it was great mixing it up with a variety of characters, it was nice to see what you could do with others. However you rarely fuzzy guard. This made throwing you my "go to" strategy you would stand and block an awful lot when I started pressuring you. This was evident across each character you used, defense is universal regardless of who you pick.

Settra, I always enjoy our matches nd thankfully the ones last night were not nearly as laggy as our last attempt!

A couple of things I picked up on you: You hardly ever use rising attacks. This allowed me to get on top of you every time I scored a knockdown without any worries. You freeze up a lot when you're on defence, particularly after you tech roll which left you open to be thrown. You're throwing a lot more on offense now which is great because I remember you barely threw me at all in the past. I liked your Blaze, we should get some mirror matches at some point. [IMG]

GGs back to you dude. The missing of some rising attacks has probably the reason that I screwed up my techrolls for unknown reasons. I often wanted to rise and ended up lying on the floor...
My throwing game depends heavily on the charakter I´m playing. I still rarely throw with Akira, but Blaze supports good throws in pretty much every direction. But what I noticed, especially while our KagexWolf games is your leak of TE´s. Possibly you were just lazy that evening, but it quite suprised me that you didn´t escape a single TFT.

Also GGs to ShinjukuATM, Kakamoto, Krye, Gameztrix and ChiefGuttiWolf.
