I use quarter circle forward. Unless it's in a juggle then I just hold forward.

How close were you? Also, I've tested this in match where you also don't even know if 6P is going to make contact or not on hit or guard. But still, it shouldn't matter in dojo either, and I've also tested against Jeffry with Denkai(it was also what Denkai told me Adam does to dismantle his Jacky), and Lion with Lucky a couple of years ago.

Depending on the distance though, it doesn't matter what character it is or what stance, you can backdash out of there and hit em with the YEAAHH!

But still, if your testing in dojo brings up the result of Jacky being able to get away anyway, then I'm not upset about being inaccurate, cause that's good news anyway

I use iageri by doing 6KKG, a lot of the combos I do, don't involve iageri though. My iageri usage is snuck inbetween string that have followups that must be respected on guard, and for people that evade trying to avoid my 4P usage.

 

Blossy, you shouldn't use 3PK at the first place, if you don't know it's gonna hit for sure ( like after staggering your opponent with a flamingo entry for example or if he likes to evade FL K), because it's 2 high, and you can easily duck the kick follow up if you block the first 3P. ( marly, if you didn't know that, you suck :-D )
Basically, everytime you enter FL, I just crouch or 2P you out of it, keep in mind that FL K is special high.Also don't tech roll too often after Sarah P+G, just a quick rise or just lying there.

 

Yeah, I did a quick test last night at dojo and it should be fine. I was trying to get as close as I could to avoid the further range issue.

Thanks, good points. About the neutral throw, I definitely find that situation hard to handle because I feel like I'm gonna get screwed no matter what I do after that... I find okizeme hard in general as well, too many situations I don't really understand yet.

Hey Thanks man. I actually wanted to stay around longer but right when we started someone was getting on me about taking the dog out. I think the reason I have have gotten better fundamentally is from playing Jeff. He gets me out of the spamming mindset. It is still possible to spam/gamble with Jeff's high damage moves, but actually playing Jeff against spammy or semi-spammy players made me focus more on stuff I didn't worry about with Lau like evade canceling into moves like 233k or 844k or p or 233p+g etc. It was funny how you were punishing me for taking a nap on knockdowns rather than techroll...

 

Yeah I couldn't agree more on playing Jeff or any heavy for that matter will make your fundamentals stronger. That is exactly why I am currently playing him. I realized there are way to many situations where I get knocked down far to easy and I want to put an end to that. hehehehe still not quick enough to react to Lau's damn 2k+g.

And yeah I notice you are stubborn like me and purposely won't take the tech roll most of the time to mess with people's head or overall strategy. * thumbs up *
