Good Games Thread

ya some characters can or players can do very well without FUZZY or eteg etc, cause their spacing and striking or flowcharts are great. Some characters can get away with this more than others. I dont care how they play i like fighting all styles. Is it annoying losing to ppl who lack defense have great offense, yup, but hey, it cuts one option down, more counter hits, and u can land ur powerful throws more often.. no need to delay and risk it and get hit by a reverse nitaku. i also agree with slide, about knowing the other character and how to fight vs it. Its one thing to know their frames, and another to apply a strategy. What i do vs wolf is fight long distance. Up close goh is good but not wolf good... so i would prefer to have him not close.. stages with walls. hmmm .... Or like jacky and BRad, they cant deal with 2p well... or stuff like, abare shrm vs sarah and lau..this is something i wanna work on next, character matchups, not only knowing frames, but constructing a character matchup strat.

DATCHI_SPL: this guy since day one has been giving me great game. nice wolf vs brad. My brad is autopilot i admit, until i read and study him better.

HETAK NAVY: VERY VERY smart.. rock paper scissor mind games. 1 up on me. Started off good. then.. i was GG'd by his sub akira... i would like to see what the lau would have looked like. for single striking charaters fuck the ete"G", ete ftw. or i could p/2p if i can react the high, sometimes going single palm or pk if recovery is too quick is no good. Ruthless jab tossing by both of us, but he dealt with it much better ) : ... alot of TE's, RN abare, moral... constant changes.

 

GGs GT: sorry had to leave early. My brad took a huge beating from ur jacky. i gotta alot of work to do on my brad lol. hope we can get longer games tonight

Without online playing is the worse part, but I don't know how to play online with its AR system.

im on casual auto and i cant even beat the first big robot.. i dont even know where to shoot him.

this is coming from the guy who beat bayonetta on very easy and found it somewhat hard.lol

 

Aim at the red bits lol, if you aim at something and it has a red health bar pop up above it, shoot it.

ggs to Gameztrix yesterday and also to Settra and War1664 a few weeks back, figured I'd try to get in a bit of VF this week cuz once Black Ops drops next week I probably won't be playing anything else for a good while.

AirJacky - Always fun playing that laid back style of yours.

The Weiand - Always some crazy matches, I swear I have the best connect whicha. You must live in MN, Illinois or somethin.

Vigaku - Don't even know if he lurks here, i'm sure he does. Finally beat this cat a few times. Fucking Sarah, lol. Have green bars but I always seem to lag sometimes.

Allstar - Fun stuff man, it's been a while since i've played ya.
Nice patience.

Shit man, I realize the only character I have most exp fighting against is Jacky, some Brad (from playing T-Fam) and Kage too I have to admit, and I still don't know their shit. Fucking mayhem fighting anyone else. I guess Wolf too from playing The Weiand. Forgot about that.

Dam shame more cats don't play VF5. Or i'm just not finding them. Need more cats with good connections to play against.

 

Come to think of it. I usually do find at least one person to play when I pop in VF5.

God I hate Jacky, frankly I think I just can't fight that character at all sometimes. Bad enough everyone plays him nowadays.
Didn't rage quit on you Slide, I just realized Boardwalk Empire was
on. The only show I watch religiously.

(GAW = Good Ass Whoopings, think I won like once against Slide and
Thief ran all over me. Maybe a couple almost victories.)

i hear ya, but i've officially became a part of the problem not the solution...haven't turned it on but like once every 6-7 days recently.
I would like to get some ak vs ak against you sometime. I wanna see that sick as offense and steal some ideas. well, feel that sick offense 1st hand i mean.
