Yo for real???/ Damn, man I had no idea I kept evading up. Thinking about it now, I think it's because I'm deathly afraid of your +4. Evading up though, damn I didn't know it was that constant though. But yeah, I was afraid of your +4, and then fuzzying and being put BACK into -4 again from flash kick. But just UP though? damn man, I was fuckin up.

Straight up man, Jacky's flash kick makes the opponent(me) do stupid and predictable stuff. Like Sarah's 4K, but better and faster. The fear of being put at disadvantage for 6P to hit makes me scared of that move and it happens so fast that's what makes it even better, but then it opens me up to everything else. That 3 hit mid combo is dangerous to me because it's not like any other Jacky set of moves, it's mad delayable and all mids, if I had a sabaki it'd be a different tale though.

I got some new wakeup choices for you next time though, you might not want to be knocked down anymore...

 

Its fun to bitch, and messages most people post on here are probably usually to blow off steam after someone beats you. Just because I don't like when someone spams DMPK doesn't mean that I'm not taking steps to counter it (I've actually gotten to the point where I can evade almost all of Darth Minion DMPKs).

Also, most of the time I'm too engrossed in my own game to give any advice to other players.

 

Yeah, but just like in anything, I think most people can only get so good at something before they hit a wall. I'm not saying I'm there yet, but I don't think I'll ever be good enough to compete with GentlemanThief.

It depends on who he uses. I got a 3 game streak against him when he used Aoi vs. my Jacky, but when he switched to Kage, I think I would up taking 1 of 13

And to quote Herm Edwards "You play to win the game". I always play to win or I wouldn't be playing at all.

 

I don't really know what you mean, I try to mix it up and lose the iageri if I can help it, just seems like hes in my head.

 

So that means i HAVE to LEVEL up my defense a bit more. I have to neutralize your Yomi. Trust me i remember the set ups you have before but i got some tricks up my sleeves. Sometimes i double up the Iageri just to scare you into think i might double up again to land the 6p. If i never spent months in dojo practicing the Iageri i would not have a chance to beat you and neutral. But just remember just because we adapt to new things between us.. The old things will eventual work again.

Don't lose the flash kick im talking about Flash(Style).
You gonna the need the Iageri kick no doubt but you better be mixing it up. He's no joke to punishing things accordingly. Hit me later on tonight Slide.

I'm not always trying to 10 streak people. In grusselgrossers case he asked for it, so when I played him with Kage and Lion I tried to win every game. I pick a lot of characters now because I find learning the matchups interesting. I think Kage and Lion are both bad matchups for Jacky and I was trying to confirm this in the matches as well as win.

But I see how it is now. No mercy from now on : D.

I'd like it if folks didn't try to read what people do after matches like one is trying to speak to the other through post round actions. I mean can't people just hit some buttons after the round is over anymore

I want to say to Grussel (if you don't mind me saying, I just don't like to see folks like this) you gotta shake that menatlity brotha. Weather it be GT, Denkai, SMB, Konjou, Homestay Akira, T-Fam, Chibita or a noOb, you gotta try and just run through them cats. Nothing wrong at all with acknowledging ones skill. And that's good cause it shows you have respect for others. Save that for after the matches though.

I understand what you're trying to say bout the midget vs Jordan. But that don't mean the midget can't walk up to Mike, chest pass him the ball and say "Check up muh fucka!" and mean it. If I went to Japan right now, weather I could win or not, i'd go in with the mentality that i'm whoopin anybody that dares step on the same machine i'm on. No matter how many times I won or lost. Yet i'd still respect em at the end of the day. Like how you're respecting GT's skills. Nothing wrong at all with that, but don't say "I'll never beat this or that dude". Go for the glory man Eye of the tiger^^

and Vigaku (or something, Sarah player) dude whooped my ass bout 4-5 times in a row then bounced lol which is cool with me. If one can beat me 3 times in a row during a session or right away, i'll be glad to hold the door open for you as you leave.

 

C'mon man. For real. I can see if you're just trying to rise comp out of people, cause I almost took that approach. But for one, you're in another country so that makes lag bad and almost unplayable with us in the US of A. And two it'll just make people dislike ya and that's why I decided not to go that route. Chill man n save it for during the bouts. There's not many of us VF cats here (and even if there was) and to dog each other like that is just not cool man.

I havent been playing alot of ppl i want to play lately, sorry bout that. if it felt like i was dodging neone, personal issues.. nothing personal. Lately i have only been playing that douche bag wei_AND.. jk. and canadian Dennis

 

I guess I have trouble spotaneously improvising mix-ups in my game instead of getting into patterns. It's a hard habit to break and I don't know how someone can improve their mix-up ability. It seems like, at some level you are going to get into a pattern. I don't really know how to get better. Sure I practice ETEG and fuzzy, but what else can you do? It's really hard to be omniscience during this matches, and realize everything that is going on. I don't know how to improve that ability or, like I said, the ability to mix up constantly. Seems like some people are faster at and better able to pick up on peoples patterns.

For instance, I've played this game for years and I still am completely oblivious to foot positions (at least consciously, sometimes I may make moves that subconsciously show that I am aware of it. Sorry I am trying to think about how I think.) and ESPECIALLY noticing what color light flashes for hit/counter-hit. I'd hate to play someone who can notice that on the fly.

On a side note, SOME people bitch at how I don't hit-check online, but with some of the inherent lag online, how well can someone actually hit check without having to spam to cover the blind spots??!?
