THEWALL17 - Funny when I caught Wolfs DM+PK with my low throw. Still gonna keep trying to nail those low drop kicks.

UKDiddy - Good to see you back again. Your Kage mix ups are fast and hard to defend. It was hard to find a way to attack you with Goh.

xyz - Eileen, arrgghhhh lol ggs

Gameztrix - You attack through my throw attempts more often. (Like after you have launched AKs 46P+K at me) I`d recommend you do something more powerful than P. My whiffed throw attempt can be punished by stuff like SPoD and 666p on CH. But like everything in VF its all situational so it would be worth you doing especially if I had a bad habbit of trying to throw everytime.

 

GGs to everyone I've played the past few days. Don't want to name names because I might forget someone. Keeping VF5 online alive lately hasn't been easy, so it's great to see so many people still showing up to represent the community. Maybe if we get some solid FS release info things will pick up a bit more.

 

GGs AssasinCP: man that was kind of a rough beatdown. I feel better that at least you had to work for it towards the end, but that first 5 hurt my feelings lol. We're definetely gonna have to play some more

VFNumbers: I was wondering what was going on for a second when you would just stand there. I was pretty late on reading that message. It's all good though. Gave me time to answer the phone in between. And that does suck. My dog chews through everything too, but I haven't given it the chance to get to my pad or stick yet.

Infamous: Thank you for playing all those matches with me. I know I was kinda scrubbish at first but it gave me a chance to warm up and remember how to play a little bit. Mirror matches anytime man. Kage or Akira.

awesome offline matches to Dullyanna this weekend at FSAK, a soul calibur tourney i went to. was cool to talk to non-VF players about VF. a bunch of them want FS to be released so they can play it. yay!

Maybe Plague or someone can teach me a thing or two. When you saw me standing there during a lot of the match that was me pretending to be plague lol

GG's to you also. You have a pesky Akira which is a good thing. I was DMPK to mess with you a bit but you would'nt fall for it. about that throw its has three directional options. I kept checking for the front shoulder but it never came. Keep going with Akira nothing wrong with learning multiple characters.

GG's to T-FAM - Pretty fun trying to beat you with a Clean Moral methodical style lol!! No 2p for a challenge against brad. Nice Matches i wish we could've hooked back up.

Social, I love the challenge of trying to beat your Lei with my Goh. Win/loss doesn't matter to me as long as I can give your killer Lei a good fight. Outguessing Lei is like trying to grab a cobra out of a basket with like 2 other cobras. If you're fast enough you can catch the cobra without getting bit by the other two but then after you catch it you still gotta make sure the cobra you caught doesn't bite you and... wait, what was the topic again?

Overfiend! Good playing you again, I had a lot of fun. Idk why my connect drops like that but I had to eat anyway. I'll catch up with you again for more "shenanigans"

Xyz, keep that freestyling spirit alive. Some of that stuff won't work offline like I told you BUT after talking to you I'm sure that you would switch up whatever wasn't working offline. Adapt and overcome... something I'm still working on myself >_<

Smb, man, what you were doing last night was great. Where did all that agressiveness come from? It was fastpaced, fun and karazy. I can see you pissing me off with VF5FS Pai if we get it

GGs tfam! haha, i got tired of waiting on you, so i busted out some pushups and tricep dips, then i came back into the room and we were all tied up at one round each. then you drubbed me.

bolded part: really I felt stale and was a little embarassed by my play, on the whole. I will say, i had some inspired moments, where i just did whatever, completely randomly (as you suggested with taking a break sometimes to just go unpredictable as possible) and in those matches, i had some extremely effective rnds/matches while not even using "good" set ups.

But on the whole, i felt like i just kept falling for the same "crappy" tricks, flows, and set ups, over and over and over. (i say "Crappy" tongue-in-cheek. they are good set ups, and traps, and tricks, lol). And conversely, while i failed to adjust to your flows, i also felt like i was playing (as none other puts it) "masterbatur" style, and failing to adjust my own gameplan. like i just lined it up and spammed it out repetitively. sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't, either way, lets do it again.

And what adjustments i did finally make, were to little and inconsistent. Oh well, its an evolution, and i'm very slowly, glacially, getting back some form. haha, oh, i'll be even more annoying if we get FS. I'm gonna go with shun and eileen, so EVERYONE will hate me, lol.

Some questions:

Are all those stomps guaranteed after your throws?

Not entirely sure which move it was, but you were doing some kick (leaves you back turned i think) than a mid 2 hit follow up, it very much seemed to beat out my "abare" ppp mashing, was it leaving you + on block, or was it lag/poor reaction?

off of that p-p-2handed low stagger p combo, you'd follow up with elbow, p type combo, is that guaranteed? or just super small window to struggle and block? (on a couple of those, I FINALLY adjusted and got some mid counters, but shoot, shouldnt' have taken me that long, lol.)
