Even though im late by a few days. ggs to you too

 

During your better matches you moved around a lot quicker and seemed to choose your options better. It was weird for me because I was used to playing at a certain level against you after having played about 3 or 4 matches and then I had to step it up, which is awesome! I like having to change on the fly. For an instant I thought I was playing someone else because the style seemed to change so drastically. Nevertheless, good shit! You have improved greatly in the past couple years.

 

ggs KO. Too bad we couldn't play longer. Good job on -12 TEG'ing. It's nice that you've added that to your game. Also, you block low attacks and punish really well too. One piece of advice i would give you, is that rising attack of jeffs where he does a low shoulder or headbutt or whatever the hell that is, it sucks. I think it's from face down head towards. I ALWAY hope u do it, cause i can just evade it and get free punish (although last nights lag kept me from punishing it even once ) and most the time it's easy side crumple for serious damage.

ggs to grusselgrosser, i didn't realize you had gotten so much better (according to other peeps here) makes me wish i'd have had time to play u longer.

oh yeah, ggs belatedly to xyz, hadn't played ya in a long time.

 

gg's to you too social! I found out my parent was streaming and I wanted to test the connection with you again but I was 1 minute too late. Thanks for the advice, actually Tony was punishing it as well today so that just reinforces your point about the rising headbutt and now I will stop using it. Hopefully we can play again with a little less lag and we can bring out the best of both of us.

Lol, my bad fellas, about 5 of those GGs were for ranked the rest were player matches but still that's the most people I've seen playing ranked matches in months

(i still have it, but i'm no where near that level anymore. I'd be lucky if i'm still at 9-10th dan with the old monk)

and congrats on defender tony i know rank didn't used to mean much, and its even more dead than ever now, but it still pretty sweet to break out the master rank into the proper name ranks

Great Games to Ranking match FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!
VF Numbers - it was awesome to play you in ranking right off the bat i could tell the difference in your playing style from player to rank it was way more intense, I mean you came at me like a bat out of hell from the very start of the match. it was freaking awesome. after losing, i got to think about the match we just had and made adjustments to my play for the second time we went at it and there i got you I just wished you played a bit longer
TF it was great to play you with brad for once and in ranking!!! i got to get out of player match mode i dont kill when i should hehe. but i love playing your brad always making me think out side the box to try and beat you.
Social Ruin - GGs agian it was great to see you in ranking last week. hope to see you there again.
Boris - GG's in ranking, and props for playing rank when you had something on the line and not running away to player match when things dont go your way in ranking (like other VF'ers do and i am not talking about every vfer just some and they know who they are). I believe you fought T-Fam a few times for 10th and a master fight, which got T-Fam up to Def. Really it was good to see that you still fought when something is on the line like that, and not runaway.

GG's to everyone else that i play in player match in the last year. But if you really want to play me at my best send a message to play in rank. i dont care who i am playing in player match i will leave ASAP and play you in rank. Like i said earlier i just practice in player match. i dont kill people when i can, i let them live with a little bit of life to try other thing to beat them with. i dont care if i win of lose. there is nothing at stake here and i can tell for past post that people are seeing the same thing, players dont care after a while in player match. because really what is player match, but one long ass round. It seems like there are lot of vf'ers that just care about wins no matter how bad the player is, i mean as long as there winning that all they care about. As for me i look to play against someone who give me a challenge, some one who is thinking a few steps ahead who sees my patterns and forces me to rethink and readjust my style.

I feel if you are going to play you want to play that person at there best and in rank that is what you get. and if it is a ranking match you know that they are going to do anything to win and those are the best kind of matches. Playing some one for hours on end is a bit lame i will only play about 5 -8 at a good level after that it doesnt matter who i am playing i want some variety. i love to play 3-8 different players and styles in a night but in player match i am lucky to get 2-3 people to play. not as fun, as playing in a room full of good players that you get a chance to play.
and for all of you that complain about losing to 2p, or dpk is learn to play the game its not lag cause you to lose its you either attacking non-stop or your easy to read. because if someone could beat me like that i wouldn't complain about it i would play them again and figure out what i am doing wrong because I am good at this game and if they can beat me that way then i want to know why and adjust my game accordingly.

When ever i am in Japan which has be been many many times in the last 15 years I NEVER EVER once saw them playing player match NEVER. They only play ranking, i wonder why they are sooo good in pressure situation??? Even when vf3tb came out for the dreamcast they still played at the game centers on the weekend to show off there skills.
There is nothing better then to play someone at your level skill or higher for a ranking match. the heart starts to race a little you get yourself pumped up for the big match. man that is a great feeling. too bad that NEVER EVER happens in player match.

Anyways the point here is if you want to play at your best and having the opponent play at their best ranking is the only way to go..

I ONLY WANT TO PLAY SOMEBODY AT THEIR BEST.

I am hoping with all this talk about ranking that people will at least start to play ranking on the weekend to show off their skills that they have been working on during the week.

Now a couple of issues since i havnt been posting in the last year i did some looking at past post -

Macfator - dude the day that your talking about me shitty on you was the day you picked shun, and i was playing at a high level that day and only wanted to play people with there best character. if you had goh i would have played with you for a while but it seemed you wanted to play shun with just 3 or 4 move that you knew at the time, its hard enough to get in the mood to play at a high level in player match so when i am in the mood i only play other at a high level and you were not a high level shun player.
Plus there were a few high level players playing that day. if you thought because i left early, that i was shitty on you, then i guess i did. well i dont have any bad things to say about you. i love playing your goh, and really out of all the people that have started playing this game in the last 2 years you by far have improved the most. you are one of those that learns as he plays you change your style form aggressive to defense in the middle of the round you make your opponent think in order for them to win and that is a great style to have. but if you still hate me for that day, oh well nothing i can do about that i guess you will have one less opponent, that will make you think to win


and to SDS i know you dont want to play ranking because last time i played you in ranking you were at 84% with a rank over master, seems a little fishy to me if you lost to Jhow 10 in a row. with that record i would assume you would be at the same level as bauer, rodney, GT, and Jhow just to name a few. but you cant beat them on a consistences basis it sounds like. i would like to see you play rank against the level your at on ranking now. i dont think you would have your rank above master for very long. .
and you wonder why i dont give you the time of day any more SDS because all you do is say i am a trash player but it was you who pulled on me the last time we played ranking you,(which was the last time i played ranking about 1 yr ago) after the 2nd round because i beat you in under 20 sec total time, and damn, you pulled fast too,didnt even give it a chance to go to the 3rd round and you called me a trash player after that.LOL.
funny thing is i will still play you LOL. you have a fun jacky to play against.
I dont take this game personally in player match and the ones that do need to chill out its just practice.

rank match i do take a bit more seriously. so bring it on in RANK!!!!!!!! PLEASE
and i welcome all criticism good or bad, i hope we start talking about playing this game at a high level then we have been playing it at.

Well I only fought Tfam once last night but I figure if you can beat me then you deserve my rank

GGs to you too Air Jacky, we never get a 100percent connection but I always enjoy fighting you.

These people though, are such a hassle. In general even if you adapt to beat them they'll always keep chipping away waiting for that one frustrating moment when they can go back to their dmpk spammy stuff. I find it a massive hassle, but hey, I admire your patience.

I've told him you're a good player whenever he's asked my opinion, I'm sure he's come around to you by now
