GGs Boris. I had just came out of a session with Shackal and felt awful, sorry if I played like shit, but its the aftereffect of spamming stuff mindlessly. La Tombe reminds you of Kingo too?!

ggs smb. Well, i told u i was gonna use wolf dummy, u just closed the chat to soon to see it. But ggs later on. Your akira is getting better and better. Starting to put together a nice little offense. I'd watch some plague/UK diddy videos and steal some of there set ups.

ggs tfam. Too bad we didn't get more games in. Your brad is always scary. It's funny, you said u play brad vs goh and do well...you don't play goh vs your brad, lol No other brad is pouring on the offense as heavy as yours.

ggs to shackal. Nice start on that lei man. I was impressed.

ggs to kamonari. Nice step work/baiting/punish. lol @ never ending lei combos, sarah does the same once you get into flamingo/oki. You are definitely dealing with a lot of lei's attacks better.

ggs to KoC. Hope it wasn't annoying. I haven't put wolf in the dojo or vs cpu. For some reason i just felt like giant swinging today

Sorry for all the delays and rounds i didn't fight back guys. It was a mad house today with my room mate and my GF having company coming and going. And leaving my ass to answer the door. sucked.

Sorry to hear that you're leaving again but I got a bad feeling that you really mean it this time. Great games man, learned so much from you that even when you weren't meaning to be, you were a mentor and one of the players who I owe a lot of my improvement to. I still remember an exercise that you taught me and I still do it to this day. I was on the verge of giving up on Lau until you told me that my Lau was "different and weird" and I asked if that was good. You said "different is good in VF"

Well I was thinking at the start that he wasn't as good as Kingo but then he got a 7 win streak on me and I didn't know what to do, absolutely no clue. So of those games were like him at 90 percent health and winning all 3 games. So I wouldn't like to say who is better but La Tombes definately pretty good.

 

What I did after a beatdown, I decided to give up my advantage once I blocked his stuff. So block, then backdash/crouch backdash, and then wait for his 2P/failed evade. I caught him a few times like this, and he somehow stopped mindlessly spamming them. It was already an achievement to get him to play a bit differently from his usual style.

TBH I am forced to play defensively and I am not sure I like to play like that, but thats the way it is online...

 

ONE OF THE FEW GUYS ON LATE AT NIGHT. SOMEONE MIGHT READ THIS AND START PLAYING LATE. HAD A FEW GOOD FIGHTS LATELY SOME GOOD JAPANESE PLAYERS. ALSO PLAYED MACK AND ASSASIN AND OVERFIEND. BUNCHA NEW BRAD PLAYERS ON. GUESS ITS BECAUSE HES THE MMA WANNABE FIGHTER OF CHOICE HAHA. EXPERT FIGHTERS BECAUSE THEY WATCH UFC. THEIRS AN MMA THREAD ON VFDC.? SHOULDA CALLED IT THE DORK THREAD! HAHA. ALWAYS ON LATE. THE WEIAND.

 

I feel the same way about la tombe whoever this person is they are better I expected. He spammed jabs against my Pai and then the next time I saw him I used my Van against and her 1p and sabakis crushed eileen's attacks quite a bit and the matches were closer but I still lost a bunch of matches to him because he did every other part of Eileen's game to counter my tactics. I really enjoy the challenge of dealing with la tombe since I can't get a good feel for him yet.

 

He didn't really do any 2p DMPK stuff to me. He was pretty abare, but that's a semi-legit tactic I guess. As in he wasn't mindlessly spamming it.

 

All he has to do is win.

Lost Cloud86 - Thanks for those matches. I'm glad you throw break, that helps me not get complacent. Your also using more max damage combos, but off of those wall splats you should be able to bust out with a + and combo accordingly. Other than that, good stuff... Good comebacks as well...

Plague - Speaking of comebacks, you bust out in T.O.P. mode when your Akira is at about 30% health. I'm thinking I can grab and get the V but you pull all the stops. Watching your mixups is quite interesting. I need to use more sparingly...

SDSOverfiend1 - I didn't play you, but I need to get some matches in with you sometime soon... I definitely need to show you wassup in Battle Fantasia and NGBC also... Wassup with that Watson??? Hit me up.

Speaking of hitting up, and Aoi experts plz send an invite when possible, and help me step those Aoi skills up.

 

Thanks for the compliments, man. I enjoyed our games. I also got in some games with Happy Friend and ThirteenANTDAWG. Overall, it was a great night for fighting.

Social, good playing you again. Honestly, I had a bit of a fit after that message about Brad sunk in.
I mean, I had just got done playing your Lei with my Goh (lulz) then when Brad wanted the monk you said that you don't like playing Brads online... I laughed it off at first, even made a joke and then... watched your Lei-Fei magic shenanigans... and just started getting heated
Anyway, we will def continue exchanging notes and ideas through PM's. Look forward to getting more games in with you soon.
