tony--nice stuff man. haha, my akira is whack. it doesn't help any that i dont' trust him at all so i'm always backing away to try and buy time to think. i hear he's better in close!!!! and damn brad if he touches me i'm losing at least 60pts of life, ahaahah. does he have a move that doesn't float my clear across the screen into that wood frame wall and leave me open to big pounce?????!!!!!??? /crying

speaking of whack:
TO AKIRA PLAYERS OUT THERE--i thot p+k (mid) was supposed to beat 2p? does it have some sort of special properties on that move that makes it lose to 2p? B/c i'll be damned if i don't get 2p'ed out of it 70-75% of the time i do it. shit, i know 2p is coming so i think, sweet, p+k (ch) p+k, 2p, 46p.....but we don't get past me eating a 2p.

 

P+K ducks under high moves. Use it to beat (not 2p).

lost cloud, those goh vs goh matches were fun. i was getting sad cause i can't do 66k+g and 3k+g hit throws worth a shit anymore. It was fun, we were ripping chunks of life off back n forth.

mistah tee, speaking of chunks of life, man vane can take a grip quick. So many sabaki's and strings that seem to leave u at adv (altho i'm sure they don't really). I was having trouble finding holes in it with jacky. After a certain point i was like 'fuck it, i'm dealing with the defensive elbow-9f p, defensive elbow, p, p, Defensive elbow combos with dm pk', lol.

On the other hand, when i was able to slow down ur attack with lei, i found some good places to punish. Those were some offensive matches though, that's for sure.

La tombe: pretty strong Eileen, his style looks like kingo's but I'm not sure it's him. Because of his GT I send him a message in french and he replies in english saying he's not french...

 

This La tombe is not me... he uses way too much 2P and DM P+K ! ( and I NEVER uses the last one ! lol )
I wonder why people think he has my "style" ?

because he attacks rentlessly, 2P or dmpk at disadvantage without fail, like to stomp or repeating the same move after KO, and finally, but most importantly, doesnt mind playing with noobs like me even for long sessions. I swore it was you Kingo, but thinking about it he wasnt ETEGing like you do.

 

Kingo doesnt DMPK or low punch relentlessly LOL

Kingo has a way different fighting style, with massive evasive stepping maneuvers closing in on you or retreating from your attacks and retaliating in return whenever he wishes to do so.

 

GG’s social. I wouldn’t say rust had anything to do with it. I was fully aware of what was going on. Just to remind you, all the strings that I use are mostly plus on hit or block, including my sabaki’s. Defensive elbow is plus on hit (+2, +4) and -8 on block. I can sabaki even at -9 so there is no real reason for me to stop my onslaught of defensive aggression after defensive elbow. But I guess that explains now why you thought to always attack me after it or my sabaki’s lol. Vanessa’s huge damage comes from players trying to force there way through her offence. BTW your Lei had some very nice dangerous flow charts. Haven’t seen you pull those ones off so that threw me off. Good shit dude! There was something that I notice you never ever do in VF. Step. Like all your spacing comes from your characters advancing or evading moves. I never see you dash to create whiffed moves, or throw off spacing, or bait a move. For example I couldn’t read your Lei’s flow, so I opted to out space you since that’s your weakness. Right away you had a problem because you could only use specific moves that could get you close to me. All I had to do is make you miss the move and punish or bait so I could sabaki. The only time you dash is when you want to throw, and that always is 66 if you want to do a 6+pg, or 33 if you want to do a 3+pg. honestly you have the offensive skill but if you want to level up you need to work on your spacing. Don’t be scared to dash in and out when you knock me down. It’s only a wake up kick not much to fear. With that said. I love fighting your Lei. It’s grown soooo much since that last time we played. Please send invite next time I would like to play you some more.

Gentleman Thief, holy shit man crazy fun games last night!! It was like a good tennis match. It could go anyway. For the first hour it was back and forth with some crazy good comebacks. Then after that you kicked my ass. Lol I think I have gotten better at reading people and hiding my intentions. But you are a lot better at it then me. Feed back on my game play would be appreciated Wish to play you more. Oh and play you more in SSF4.

Tony, gg’s a few days ago. That was the first time I played in I think over a month. I forgot this game is so much fun. I’ve been so busy prepping for EVO that I really don’t want any distractions from Tekken, but after so many Tekken tourneys the last few weeks I needed a little break. VF was what the doctor ordered! lol

 

I'm slowly getting back into VF5 but I have to give some shoutouts to those I've played. Sevensided, Shadoolord1979 and anyone else I might have missed.

 

Good games to Truesonic, Grusselgrosser, Kahn Rahn, MonkeypunchUK, and La Tombe. It was a really enjoyable evening and my opinion of La Tombe is mixed, he knows his character but I have a hard time taking him too serious because of his excessive 2ping but I respect him regardless a good eileen anyways.

Also GG's to Feck, haven't played you in a long time. Regarding the Neutral throws,
for some I kept messing up my throw inputs and the rest where probably bad TE's.

Invite me to games people!, I go back home on Saturday evening where once again I will
have no proper internet or access to Live for a very long time with no change in sight.

frankimus grime. i couldn't tell if you were really playing or not. Mostly just cause so much evade 2p'd a lot. OF course, i hadn't seen u use akira before, and if you were getting used to akira, i could definitely see you feeling the urge to rock some 2p to try and string together some offense. At any rate it was a lot of fun and gave me a chance to work to test some things. So thanks for playing, look forward to playing more. You were a goh user before, right?

 

I had to go to work in about 20 minutes after I cut it off. I would to see you when you focusing the whole time next time so I can what your Sarah can really do.

GG's to T-fam last night. Welcome back bro! Sorry my Lei is kind of dull unlike other Lei's who use a lot of stances and such. I prefer to poke and use a little spacing. Your Lau is incredible tough man sheeesh maybe I need to look into using that character because he has tons of tricks which you utilized very well against me. For the first 10-15 matches I felt like a deer caught in the headlights. The way you would string together stuff and just make me freeze and then throw me really had me confused. Good stuff man keep it up.

GG's to Wasted Wish from the other night. Our connection was the worst I think it's ever been but still the matches were a lot of fun. You Akira is good man, but I think there are 2 things you really need to abandon and you will be tons better. First, ~ .... I'm no good at it, but people like Denkai, Lucky GT and T-fam will punish you very badly for whiffing a standing and then following it up with a . Trust me on this... abort... abort... abort... don't learn this lesson the hard way. Second, you really need to tone down how much you use + ~ + . If you recall I 'ed you every time by ducking the high follow up each time you used this move set. I could have done worse like throw, but because of our connection I just went for the easy damage.

I don't know how much longer I will be online, because I'm selling my Xbox360. I haven't found a buyer yet, but as soon as I do it's bye bye XBL / VF until the Xmas season where I will pick up one of the news ones. I really need to get some things done and Monster Hunter / VF is not helping. I don't plan to sell my Wii, but I'll probably cut back on MH quite a bit once I get my next armor set.

if anyone is interested I put some of my games up on eBay and will probably put more up tonight if I'm not to lazy.
