GGs to BorisofWales. It was nice fighting your Lion again after so long. Our connection, once ultra smooth, has become worse though -- felt like glued to the floor. Perhaps it'll be better next time around.

GGs to NotThisTime. I liked our matches a lot. Kage can be pretty unnerving from afar for a Goh player.

 

GG to my usual mates. This weekend my connection seems unusually crappy. Cant do anything in real time. And Yes Japancity is AddyPaddy, WishingBird is Very Good, and Haze75 is John's UP. Really strong and cheezy offence but 0 defence and connection to match his style. It was fun playing ranked against Konjou, Numbers and JHow!

GGs Reno SCS or Neno, can't remember. Really enjoyable game! It was nuts it felt like two years ago when I was just getting into VF and it was all warm in the evenings, total nostalgia attack. I dno who this guy is but who I play nowadays are scrubs or people from this site, and this was a nice change because he's a guy who seemed genuinely interested in playing despite the fact he prob hasn't been playing for to long. Props Neno or whatever your name is.

Ranked match really means that much to you? Thats not gonna bring people to playing VF again. The game is over and done with.
Maybe when FS shows up it can quench our thirst.

BAYONETTA WAS AWESOME soulkatana. I usually hate those type of games, but it was awesome. it ranks up their with my all time favorite games. BTW i finished it on easy since i suck, and i still loved it... still hard btw, i bet i would have more fun if i played on medium.

If it doesn't, oh well. But my long post about it wasn't only to get people playing rank. It was also heavily related to HOW people play the game. I'll say it until I'm blue in the face. Sega gave us an arade-type playing atmosphere that we don't take advantage of (anymore). While we might have at first, I only hope that we do again when FS arrives.

My entire belief with rank is that you WILL play better whether or not you want to or realize it. My other point with this is to eliminate the hours upon hours sessions that people have with the same person. I'm all for player match occasionally, but after 5 to 10 games (maybe 20), I can't sustain or want to play the same person for hours on end, only unless something is on the line. Variety is absolutely key in being better at anything in life. If this mentality is shared by all it will only add to the number of available people hosting / searching for matches, which will make everyone happier.

 

Very True But Rank Match only encourage a play to win attitude here in the states. Last i check that mean you will see 3 times as much DM's and cheesy online shit people will do just to win. Playing in an actual arcade to stay on is something completely different offline. Look at streetfighter and many other games here in the states. People will take a shortcut to winning over getting better by losing. Besides I for one learn many things by playing 20 matches straight Denkai,Cidkid, Rod and GT. Playing those 4 dudes made the game appear slower as i became wiser. Regardless of who i play afterwards they were in trouble after those sessions if they lack proper knowledge of VF.
I would'nt mind a lobby arcade system with 4 people in it but when it comes to VF any online is Good with me.

GGs to Krye. Was being absolutely hopeless in our matches. Am glad my Guard button is working properly again, though, as I swapped arcade parts of the stick before our match.

I'll make it happen if I know we have more than 5 people ready to commit to being available to play. The old reliable like KO, VFnumbers, and a few others seemed to have moved on.
