RocketBlaze is definitely a good fellow. He is one of the only Korean players (from Korea) that will play me whenever I ask, and even on ranking match. Even though the lag is bad sometimes we still duke it out for rank-ups! Thanks buddy!

i need to get my head straight in life.. Its also affecting my choices in VF.. One of the hardest times for me atm, at the same time i want to improve fast. Im Offline alot and havent been on mic with the usual... but ill be on once i get my head straight.

GGs to Krye last night. Your aggressive play style and elaborate stepping patterns are hard to calculate, but I'm working on it.

GGs to Hittakara Kage this morning. We had an awesome connection, I think. Some of your flowcharts are pretty surprising, but I fear your defense suffers an awful lot from your overoffensiveness with Kage, which makes your behavior and habits too predictable.

Hey Konjou, I didn't see him doing hardly any DMs to me, but I can only imagine his offense would change dramatically between playing me and you.

It's funny because Air Jacky was at my place getting his hair cut from my fiance so I thought I'd give him a little entertainment while he was just sitting there. Since I don't have as much time to play anymore I'm not able to play as many people as I'd like. I had never seen sangwon v before but Boyd had, so he said watch it, this guy's gonna kick you ass! I love a challenge!!!

I think we ended up playing about 10 matches and I won something like 7, so not bad sangwon v! I'd like to play you again. It's always fun to see which of my Shun tricks do and don't work on people I haven't played before. He was surprisingly immune to some of them.

Oh, and <sarcastic> good games, err, 2 rounds to Stl Seiju. Were you not in the mood for Shun last night?

Yeah I'm sure it's the play style that prevented the DM's Jesse because I played him yesterday pretty sure it was before you came online and after 2-3 games I just jump out the ring and left. He just runs away and every chance he gets where I can advance he just DM's with Jacky / Akira / Kage. The final DM that made me leave was in round 2 in one of our matches where he DM me like 3 times within the first 15 seconds of the round.

After I left I hosted a game then he joined with Pai and at that point I had no desire to play, so I humor him and play a little till the match was over so I could leave and lo and behold I got DM'ed like twice in the first round LOL. Sorry but high level DM'ing is just annoying. So after the match I left and he message me and said you don't want to play with me no more? I just said GG's man and left it at that.

 

i played sangwon v, and got dm p+k about 13 times in 3 fights. I won the 1st and 3rd, and decided that was enough.

 

It's so interesting that different styles can evoke different offense and behavior. That is why VF is so fricking awesome. I think I took away his DM spirit because he didn't want me to get drinks. So I just kept provoking him to attack and stuffed whatever he had coming at me. =)

Speaking of drinks, Kaminari_Oyaji, I hope you and others know that Shun is specific of making it seem like you have to chase him around, at least the way I play him. I definitely am not a turtle player in any fighting game I play. I love offense, but I love Shun's trickery even more! Drinking alone creates a seemingly turtling experience from time to time.

You're not the first to say, "I just didn't feel like playing against Shun." I'm not mad at you, but it's aggrevating nonetheless. I LOVE losing to a skilled player, because it extremely fuels me to win that much more. Without that fuel I feel like I will never gain anything, and I have gained over the years an immense amount of knowledge, especially from playing many Japanese players.

In my opinion this is highly relevant to player match and is why I feel all of us become too lackadaisical to the point of not learning anymore because we only play a few same people over and over in a room for hours on end. Some might feel differently, but I cannot learn this way. It's fun to play someone regularly, but variety is key!

Variety is something evoked from ranking matches without a doubt! You are forced to play different people, and even if you fight the same person over and over, SOMETHING IS ON THE LINE.

I know this won't spur on more rank matches, but I hope it will spur on more people in the lobby of player matches, but not playing the same person for 20 matches in a row. I know for sure rank will come back with Final Showdown. I can't wait!

Eh if everyone started a new account we could all start from the bottom in ranked but then again that would mean that people would actually need to be playing the game. Har, har, har. While I do like playing you Jhow when your tricks aren't working you start going into the old Shun stance of backing up and baiting whiffs.

It may be just a necessary evil with Shun. My Shun would never turtle which is probably why I never could keep a consistence win streak.

 

While this is true, I usually only do it until 16 drinks, unless I'm in the mood to have 40! =)

Social Ruin: couple of weeks on jacky?? dam... u got a real annoying jacky already. thats a compliment. When jacky yells YEAAAAH!!! and poses... I SCREAM : go fuck urself jacky!!! but then again, Eileen is a pretty annoying character... prob worse than jacky. Are u still gonna use goh? I really like ur goh, I hope u still keep playing goh. Not often are there many good gohs out there. but also a great idea to play different characters as well. The way u focus on one character is something i should do, i admire ur dedication one character at a time... Evryweek im like. thats IT IM GONNA PICK UP A SUB.. and then i switch evry week.. and i then i forget the character i messed around with one week later. I wanna learn lei fei again.

None other: much thanks for taking the time to play eileen. Ive learnt alot from watching how u play eileen. also thanks for coming on the mic and helping me with the translation with soulfoulkanbou. In your opinion, with the connection we had, can eileen be played ok? or does eileen need to be played with better connection than we had?
