Sorry for the noobness. There was a lot of points where I freeze up and forget what move of Goh's fit the situation best. I wasn't to sure about some of his mids so I ended up mixing up between high or low throws. Your Jacky is good. Plays totally different than mine and most other Jackys I have seen so it was a nice change of pace. Throw escapes seemed a little mad. There was many times when I'd be putting in throw escapes in a throwable situation and then you would throw but our throws would come out at the wrong times and you would end up breaking my throws. i don't know if this was because you were trying to delay a throw or if it was lag. It happend to me a few times as well.

Anyway, had a lot of fun.

Im improving my japanese evry time i speak on mic with u guys and learning to fight a more abare style. That was funny when kaminaryi started speaking japanese to medamajiji. Lag isnt that bad either if both parties are hitchecking, but if not, ill go autopilot.

Since ive started playing VF, i have been finding good players shamelessly so i can understand different styles. i find NA style different than the ones in Japan.. it seems like DM PK and 2p is more accepted and not that frowned upon. I personally like the more ruthless style and has made me more cautious when im at Adv.

 

Its not ruthless. I don't think you understand the nature of the 2p thing with most payers. In other words substituting 2p for guarding.You should've been known the Jp players style is far different than ours. Their scrubs understand the basics and are far better than ours. The Japanese scrubs still put far better fights even if you can bet them 9 games in a row.

 

Missed this last night...

My Jacky is different to others cause I barely have a clue with him lol, i've used him longer than I have Akira but never really learnt anything with him. That's why i've been using him recently, try ad actually get somewhere with him. Your Goh was decent, seriously seemed to suit you better than the other characters you use you should stick with him for a while, you'll be killing me once you get more used to his moves. Oh and good timing with the low throws, everyone seems to be pwning all my 3p+ks recently

Think it was lag causing the issue with the throws it was nearly impossible for me to throw you after I crouched under your throw, for some reason your next throw would beat mine.

Anyway GGs man, they were fun games.

 

The real issue with most people NA isn't the 2p or DMPK, it's the lag which makes both tactics that much better. I like to compare it to playing some FPS games. Sure sniper is good online, headshots are to be celebrated. Offline lan parties? Shit headshots are expected almost on a massive scale.

Sure theres better ways to score frags if that's the goal but it doesn't stop the random snipe from being a pain in the ass.

2P/DMPK like sniping takes on two different forms entirely given the environment.

Nice to play your Akira again, Feck. Had some pretty tense matches. By the way, I hit you with the run up the wall move so I believe you now owe me a pint. I know you didn't know about that deal but that's how it is I'm afraid.


Sorry to both of you that I couldn't stick about, I had some things I had to take care of.

I've been doing quite well with my throw escapes recently. Sometimes I miss my evade and end up getting CH like a bitch but it's cool.
