Good games to Kaminari and Geryon86 it was a great [size:8pt][/size]learning lesson especially vs Kaminari. I know it seems like I don't try to ETEG or throw escape but I may an effort but bad habits die hard for me, once I get going it's very hard to focus on defense but I will get there 1 day. It was nice of Kaminari put up with me though.

I know how you feel Konjou. Kingo torched me with his Pai and the thing made it so frusterating was that most of the matches were close and I lost at the end when I had his 2-0 or tied him after falling behind 0-2. He reminded me of setups I used to do and ignored a long time ago. Since I don't play Pais that are better than me too often I don't see her tactics used against me that much and I get lazy because of it. It was good thing I saw him I will have to use those tactics again.

 

Yah good games Konjou, your akira is a tyrant fo sure. Once again I have this what 6 game tilt where you just destroyed me the rest of the matches. My hands just can't keep up with what I'm thinking. You must have seen all those PPP's they were absolutely unintentional, I'm starting to think I'm missing a lot of avoids due to my pad because I got hit by way too many dashing elbows where I tried to avoid, could have and just ate it.

I guess if I want to up my level I'm going to have to get some type of new controller. Stick would only be natural since I played only arcade until VF5.

 

Well if you are going to stick with a pad try the Hori Turbo EX pag or what ever it's called. Denkai uses it and absolutely loves. Also I have heard from other pad players ever since the DOA4 days that the gamestop 360 third party pad is really good. It's suppose to have a better D-pad.

Of course stick is the way to go escpecially since that's what you are accustomed too, but I can understand why you wouldn't want to invest in a stick if you are just having fun. At $70-150 bucks it may not be worth it.

 

gg's indeed bro, your lei-fei is a tough mofo! It was a nice change of pace when you switched to your goh, although it was hard to win much more then against lei-fei nonetheless.

And I think that disconnect was from my part not yours, when I quit VF I saw some applications were disconnected!

ggs konjou crazy mirror matches u catching on with some of lei's tricks and utilizing them to ur advantage. i need to dig up and create different flowcharts and learn to counter them properly.
