Nah i did'nt get shun.I got eileen and Kage..He sent me a game invite and i think it was Shun but my mind was out of it.

SMB's Lei: Fun games as always man, I like how you figured out I can TE at major disadvantage so you P and then input throw smart! I noticed though that sometimes when I was -14 you would side-step instead of punish, why? Anyways looking forward to some more games, and don't mind my threat P spam it's just for fun.

JINXHAND's JE: Finally we got to play! The connection wasn't as good as it could be but still pretty playable, your Jeffry is a tough motherfucker! If I can suggest a few things, some of your combos were not heavyweight related such as your 6P+K, you can't do a bounce after that stomach crumple it's better to do 2p double sledge or open stance KKP. Also, imo 3K+G is really inconsistent against Jeffry as you saw the 66PP didn't hit more then half the time and I techroll knee for free, you should do heavy pounce after it to be safe. Nice throw escapes on both sides, very fast paced action and some comedy here and there, lets play again soon!

 

For future reference if you play anybody you haven't heard of that doesn't play like a scrub it is Cozby. He made over 10 or so names previously some of which I'm sure he never reveled

 

Hey thanks for the info... Its rare that I do JE mirror matches, (as all I seem to fight are BR, SH, GO, and LE players) and its even more rare for me to get a 6P+K on a heavy, so I was kinda doing my default algorithm instinctively...

Yeah I started to bust that K+G out to catch the ss attempts, and those matches actually got me back in the groove of breaking throws... I'll probably start implementing more character-specific strats/combos even more... Your throw setups got me thinking of some ideas... So many close matches... Oh yeah, your JE 1p outfit is practically like mine, except I have a pirate hat, and different color belt... Mad props homeboy!!!

 

a few things are at play here.
#1) i've only played 3 nights in a row after basically almost a year off.

#2) trying to get comfortable with the stick, before that i only used a pad. last 2 nights were suprisingly good, but 2nite i couldn't do anything i was trying to. it was super frustrating.

#3) i've sorta been spamming invade b/c i don't feel like it really works most the time. so then i have to try and do it twice as much to figure out why its not working for me (usually poor inputs, 7 or 9 or 1 or 3, when i think i'm pressing 2 or 8. so trying to get calibrated on my directions.)

but then i see some replays and where i think i failed to evade, i actually just had a really quick failed evade!! Also, sometimes i am trying to do something else completely, and due to poor execution will do the most illogical evades possible, lol.

But it was very much fun to play you again. hopefully i'll be a little stronger next time. Great games buddy.

ggs to denkai. in truth, i was completely rattled and psyched out by my joystick by the time i joined your game. i shouldn't have wasted ur time with that garbage. still fun tho.

Yeah his Jacky is what gave it away for me. There is no other Jacky other than Cozby with that weird style. Well Jerky has a similar Jacky like that, but a little more technical and favors more guaranties than risks.

 

So it was The Coz...lol!!! I did'nt get to face his Jacky. I think thats who he had in store for me but i dipped on him. He started abusing 2p and i was getting tired. Yo cozby why you fronting Son?

If you guys heard the rumors (probably not), a man in a Power-Glove-transforming mobile came to me while I was skateboarding one mid afternoon. He asked me a series of questions such as, "Who is the last boss in Galaga?" And, "Do I actually play games ever?" GGs to everyone I've been playing. I think im sucking hard (probably always sucked lol) but at the same time im having alot more fun with everyone. Sorry for laggin tho to those I played tonight, I think its cuz of the snow coming up here tomorrow.

Thanks Social and Fiend for showing me that im not crouching fast enough to avoid/punish see-able 0f throws or mid-high strings. Might be because of lag but I can't say for sure. I've been moving like shit too; I probably should hit up the dojo sometime just for my own personal security.

Social I wanna say that, although you may disagree, you have a hell of a leifei. I have a decent lei-fei understanding and I understand flaws in his general moveset. It's important when playing with him to not ALWAYS go for the good moves/big damage stuff. Not that you do that but I think it's worth mentioning. Make sure you mix in the highs/mids/lows from all of his stances. Mixing up makes players much less confident in deciding reactions and can give lei some real easy wins against even the most veteraned players. Dude your oki game is off the richter man... I almost cried. You can bait rising attacks so well. Oh if your good try to use that 66p+k more. That move is very good for lei-fei.

Denkai I'll play you sometime during the weekend hopefully. I don't want to dissapoint.

 

ggs to cozby. i always wanna do 66pk more, but forget cause it's not been in my arsenal for so long. Thanks for the compliments. You just get better and better. I did notice ur movement was a little less today than it is usually. You have a great knack for mixing in mids every time it is time to feed me a mid. Haha, get tired of you beating me with the whole cast but i feel like i'm learning, so that is what matters.

ggs to SMB. Showing shadows of ur old self. Nice to know the twin bro grudge match is offensive as always.

ggs to kaminari. real surprised to see you using lion. don't know if u pulled soon as the match was over or if our connect dropped. Sorry bout that 3 doko evade sweeps in a row, don't know what happened. i had to let u hit me after that cheeseball sweep combo It seems maybe u are getting better, but can't say for sure with as little as we play.

 

GG's to You Coz... You movements is there but im have to remind you dude...when facing Brad You cannot sit still when he's slipping or ducking without attacking. you have to use the Evade/Throw escape to the best of your ability or 2p.Keeping in mind once you do so you open urself up if you don't switch it up. don't worry about not ducking fast enough it the slight lag that negates a lot of things (Especially my TE's lol). thats a nice Eileen you got there but you need to use more throws and her moveset (I know she a W.I.P. but...). AS far as the Kage goes. You seems to mix up the throw pretty well but you don't utilize all his options and guarateed combo's. I made mistakes you couldve capitalize on to the fullest but you seem unsure of how to punish. One last thing.... you cannot Substitute Fuzzy guard for Defense.one last thing If You think a Low is coming stay low then rising(Like a reverse fuzzy lol.) fuck it fuzzying would ensure you get hit by the low attack or delay rising too fast. If you ever have your mic on and we meet up we can go over somethings or send me a invite i have slots now.

 

GG's to Social_Ruin last night, judging by the way things went during our matches I think it's safe to say your the older brother of the two!

Good goh, but obviously the highlight was from your monk, be true and keep praying in the temple and improve even more.

 

ggs KO. You are getting better for sure. I used to be able to take fights off versus you and still get wins. Now it seems like everytime i start trying to "check something out" or just kinda go ho hum with out focusing you win. As in, last few times i played you, you won EVERY time i didn't really focus (not saying all your wins were when i wasn't focused, some were beating me when i was trying my very hardest). You had some nice wall combos and more importantly u are very good at getting ur oponnent into that wall to start those combos. Also, great job doing the OM K on rising->backthrow. nice.

I know lei is my bread&butter, but using goh slowly makes me better at the nuts&bolts cause he doesn't have much hit tracking, so even tho my lei is rusty, using goh has helped me get to the best movement/evade punish that i've had yet. My biggest weakness with goh is i suck at oki with him
