Big thanks to Kamais Ookin and Kobi for games last night.

 

GGs to Mista Tee. Thanks for playing so long. I think I kind of sucked yesterday. I played a few more games later and was like totally unable to react to things normally, which might explain my abare craziness. I always suck vs. flamingo anyway, but I think I was worse last night.

And to Haze69 - King of DMPK spammers. I shall make him a crown out of a Spam can!

GGs Kamais_Ookin. I hate ending fun sessions so early but like I said some people came over and I had to go. If my playing seemed off near the end it was cause I was talking to them while playing. Nice Jeff man. Good setups and combos.

And ggs tfam. Great to play you again. It's been awhile and you've definitely improved a TON. There was a lot of distractions playing you too (same reason as above) so I wasn't totally focused on our fight, but it was still really fun. Nasty flow you got there.

Wish it wasn't so laggy though. Either LIVE is acting up or it's my new place.

 

GGs SDS - I figured you had something to do when you left. You were playing Jacky in a real weird way that was frustrating me because I was having trouble stopping it : P.

GGs Cozby - You leveled wayyy up! But what Slide said is true, you hesitate a bit too much and also seem to be afraid of using the same options more than 1 time in a row. Like if you hit me with Jacky's I knew another throw wouldn't be coming when I got up, so I'd just hold . I know Slide will go for that move 4-5 times in a row if he can : P.

GGs Slide - Stop doing . .

and GGs to Mackfactor - Your much better as well, but you gotta work on landing those 360's and proper combos on CH Knee because those moves do annoying damage : ). Also be a bit more aggressive, I could count on you backdashing at the start the round as well as other things. Your much more of a fundamentally sound player than you were even a month ago.

Yeah when im fighting Aoi i can't abide by the laws of VF lol!!! I have to attack her in a unorthodox pattern because she cannot be put at dis. I noticed you started to play keep away and poke city to nullify the pressure a bit and frustrated me. I was just trying something different giving your defense and delays are very good.
Truth is I hate fighting Her and Goh bad.

 

hey gg's feck your akira is pretty awesome and your timing with being able to read me was amazing. took me a while to catch on..

Erdraug, got a feeling that you were a bit out of it when we played. Everything cool?

Kamais, make sure you keep playing Ayu offline and don't always apply what works/doesn't work on him to others. I can tell that he punishes you for evading during certain dis situations, that doesn't mean that you shouldn't evade less when you fight others. Just don't be predictable with evade or any other defensive or offensive tactic. Try doing the complete opposite of what you would usually do sometimes and you might get some shockingly good results.

GGs Schakal, lag was a bit better last time we played but it still boils down to me DMP+King you before you DMP+K me, lol.

Great games to "Air Jacky" the other day,i haven't played VF for atleast 1 month,very good fast action fun.

The constant low punches or low kicks and/or total abare for one entire round and then totally moral the next round.
I think this is a big part of what makes you unorthodox:

You are def not playing the way you used to. You showed more of your killer instinct back in the days but I think that the more you put into fights the more you expected back. I almost started to do what you do now and just play for fun or not really care about win or lose but I don't have as much fun as when I play to win... given I don't play with the "do whatever it takes to win mentality" I still play to win a bit more now than before.
If I can look good winning even better but more often than not, trying to look good gets me killed >_<

I want that Adam Yuki killer instinct, the kind of playstyle that won't shy away from spamming 2P or DMP+K or a low attack if I have to just to piss my opponent off and/or throw them off their game.
I usually do these type of things only in retaliation.

Well, it's alot of reasons.

One, the game isn't as fun to me as it used to be.

Two, I'm not really into it like I used to be.

Three, lag plays a large factor in how I'm playing vs you, because I can't play as fast and in your face VF as I would usually do and would like to do.

Four, Brad.

Five, I think I've exhausted a bunch of other ways of playing and approaching matches, so I was trying something new vs you to see how it plays out.

Six, sometimes when we're playing matches at night, I either have my roomates watchin me play, or my gf is sitting on the bed with me watching me play, and we're all just laughing our asses off at the way I play(especially with Jacky).

And finally Seven, the killer instinct, I don't think I've ever had that. And if I did, it was during the brief 1-2 month period where Kage was my main, and I used like 3 moves.
