Good Games Thread

ggs sds overfiend i like playing that defense/punish style more than the usual rush down lei. i understand my flaws very well playin u and many others yesterday.Here's a few of my flaws
(1) fuzzy guarding at +6 to +9 advantage(I should mixup throws, sweeps, half circulars, p or 2p)
(2) my rising game there r lots of mindgames in this situation been techrolling alot and fuzzying i rarely attack after techrolling or eteg ( no delay mid rising k gets guarded options fuzzy guard, abare,eteg, teg)
(3)need to attack a rising opponent and control the flow of a match without losing the initiative(need to practice baiting rising k, time move to hit opponent as they r rising, use more down attacks.

anyways ggs also to kaminari,and beligerent feck, (i think i forgot someone)

ggs to CF white worm. <--this guy is pretty good, for those who don't know. Definitely worth a play.

I got my stick working better after we played (CF white worm), by unplugging the cord right before where it plugs into the machine while everything was turned on and going. If anyone is having unexpected trouble with their stick, u might try this. It has worked for me a few times.

good games to all the people I faced today it was a great evening of VF. I really liked the session with Konjou or the person using his account who ever it was the most though, I was trying to use some of the things mentioned in Chief Flash's youtube video as far as being patient and baiting attacks but he was more patient then I was, I have to work on that more

Good Games to Gentlementhief. Had to break out the Bradster for a bit..I think ima sit Jacky ass down somewhere. GT helped me get my Brad back on track bringing it to me like that. I'm suprised that i thought Modern Warfare 2 would take up more time but it can't is the same shit over and over. I can
t leave VF alone. The thrill of the Battle is to much.

Good Games to Mana Knight - Nice goh you got but you have to be a little more patient and keep in mind all of his options on Back turn. Keep practicing your getting there.

 

GG's to everyone I played last night. In particular Splash, Goodsport, Bizazedo, MeKahiney, and Wooboy. Live parties bloody rock.

Honorable mentions too a number of new bloods/new accounts of old heads. Never know who you're playing annymore. I'd like to think they are new people but its hard to believe considering how old the game is.

sorry about the obnoxious play style towards the end, but I realized that you were not defending at all, so I tried to make you guard or crouch a little bit. the reason why I was giving you such hard time its because every P gives advantage on guard. so all i did was P you to death. you need to realize that guarding will not keep you safe forever. you never evaded, or 2P, or crouched once! crazy! lets do another training session ok?

GGs to GT and Konjou, it's great to see yall playing the game again. Konjou came at me with a vengeance and anhilated my Goh Haven't had that much fun getting my ass kicked in a long time.

 

How did he do that if his VF-disk is shredded?!

ggs AssassinCP. You set a high standard with goh. I'd been wanting to get some goh vs lei matches in for a while. Thanks. Lol, u said u were running scare from lei's offensive options, i was running scared from ur goh. But since i was using lei, it meant i had to run forward

 

hahah yeah I borrowed the disk from my long time friend who lives just a few blocks away. He is a member here (Harlem Hero) but he never posts or follow that much anymore. He comes from a SF background and likes VF, but he admits it's high learning curve is a bit to much for him. Since he never uses his disc he let me use it for the time being.

Any GG's to Tonyfamilia, AssassinCP, Mana Knight, MarlyJay, KingofVF4 (like that Aoi, it makes me think), SoulKatana and anyone else who I forgot.

oh and extra special GG's to Darthminion for always trying to get a match with me, but always get's DENIED! Seriously Darth just give up because you are just wasting your time. I'll either log off and back on or just stand there and let you beat me up so I can quit the next match. There is no point playing you when all you gonna do is spam DM's with Wolf or 8KK with Lau. Really I'd rather waste the time playing with someone who actually wants to learn.

 

you cant say that when you didn't even play, what an idiot! If you didn't want to play then fair enough but don't come crying about it because you stood still and took a beating because your being so stuck up!
