ggs to Kahn Rahn ur eileen is tricky those 236p+k and the 214k are tough to defend against. i had to p my way out of it and rely on different offensive flows to keep the pressure.

Man i gotta say GG's to happyfriend.. i cant beat your jeff. we played about.. 20 matches and i didnt win one at all. I felt good afterwards.

Its been a long time since ive had a serious sparring session like that. Anyone want to spar hit me up on XBL

 

That's funny man, we have had quite a few Li on Li sparring sessions, he is a quick learner.

 

They were fun games. A lot of them were close. WOlf is one of the characters I am most competent against [outside of Flash and his dreaded PKG Perfect swing (and everything else)].

Tony, I was gonna switch to Lau but Jeff vs. Lau was too fun for me, even when I lost. And I like fighting your Lau a lot actually. You have good mix-ups and I actually try to see what you are doing and adjust (which is different than my startegy vs. Brad which is to randomly wait or interrupt and mix-up my interrupting attacks so as not to get crushed).

And Dennis thx for Jeff vs Pai.

And... Darthminion! Your Wolf is cheap and annoying as always, but your Lau is fun to fight against, I think because you actually have to fight and can't just abuse DMPK and P+K charged.

Happy Friend Lau: cool attack setups especially oki ending with stagger=)i have lost about 7 matches in a row my bad heh imco need to learn lau better.

Zerog20012: nice nitaku application well 1 match p.s need to train more to play i think u would tell me so=) heh mb i am too inexperienced.

D SERAPH 210: nice comepetition with u lau would be better if no lags heh always wanna more=).

Solar round: i was sleepy but it was my fault good counter with lion.

Kahn Rahn: game with your eileen was a challenge of concentration
looking forward to your aoi=)).

Vfnumbers: very good lei-fei cause i came into sabaki and full circle plus counted evasion and had to change my setups also constant pressure was something.

ShadooLord: upreditable and skilled pai i came into close combat with u and my first wish was to keep distance and also this stagger tacktick was great i had to learn in battle how to discrease stagger recorvery time p.s wow have learned a lot new about pai setup application.

For those people who i have met before well ggs anyway cause the result is sure important but the eager to be better, to improve skill is something that could be proud of=))

P.S. For those who i have met in combat and haven't met yet i wanna say that i like to try my best to win and so i save almost every game to improve my skil thats why when i or u wanna have rematch pls be a little more patient.

I may not have liked it much but you had the right idea. Pai's options are limited if there is some distance to cover. Her only real options far away are risky to use as I am sure you saw first hand. I look forward to seeing how you adapt next time. You might want to watch how often you use Kage's flips through especially the one that leaves Kage backturned after it is done. Great Kage through I hope to see more of you in the future.

 

well, ggs to you, thanks for comparing me with Boris but I know there's still a huge gap between us, he's more constant and more fluid, I keep on guarding too often, I need to learn and optimize my combos and work on TE, especially against Jeff.

But at least, the good thing is that 10 months after having started playing VF, I finally found my main...

While I am here:

ggs to kakamoto, El Blaze was the first char I picked but I hate him so much now, however games were funny and it made me see clearly a couple of things I have to fix.

ggs to chris2pher86, though i think you should not try to use aoi's reversals systematically, there are often (always?) more rewarding choices...especially when you've got the advantage... I'm not an expert, but from what I see from good aoi players is that they don't use reversals that much.

speaking of good aoi player, ggs to kahn rahn recently, always a pleasure to play against your aoi or your eileen. However, I don't know if I piss you off or something, but you never answer my msgs and you don't seem to want me to be in your friends list. Whatever...you must have your reasons...

 

Those aren't throw setups; those are desperate attemps to throw escape TFT after evading. Problem is, since i have claws for hands & i'm not fast enough to ETEG (hell screw ETEG, i can't even TEG) i just mash which gives vane's (stupid) neutral throw.

Yeah i'm the frickin zoidberg of VF.

Simultaneously you were screwing me up using kage's throw I mean what's next? Kage players realizing their character has other throw directions? Nah, joking aside, you must be the ONLY kage player who bothers using it despite being his most damaging throw.

Anyway, what happaned is, depending on frame advantage, i either threw you with neutral throw (which, with the exception of playign against a shun player nobody breaks) or you threw me with kage's throw There was surprisingly little to no low punching at all, despite our mutual efforts with kage's flipkick and vane's LP sabaki to stuff the odd one out, since we apparently both prefer BT & jumping moves to beat throw clash, which made for some very, very enjoyable games, hence the insta-add and hearty GGS.

 

GGs last week to Mitsuruga, Kahn Rahn, Morphost, Rookie NL, D1LIOS, Methylidene, SoulKatana, THE WEIAND, OptiUK and AssassinCP.

Hope that I didn´t forget anyone, and thanks for the enjoyable fights guys.

 

Big thanks to Mista_Tee, tonyfamila, and Happy Friend for playing VF with me last night.

I wish everybody had your "play to win" mentality coupled with your "If I lose, it's my fault. Not the move/character choice/lag/etc." mindset. I bow to you sir *bows*.

Happy Friend, I love your yomi man. It's not about crazy stepping, 3+ throw escapes during an evade, it's all about yomi. That's why in the end you can beat the most textbook players. Crude yomi ftw! Oh and stop it with the "I don't do well against the shoo shoo" stuff already, you do very well against the shoo shoo and you know it

tony, I can't wait to see it. all I remember is that I believe it was close. I wasn't even sure who won. I just remember you saying, "I'm going to save this one". I was never keen on the mic because I didn't have one and some people just natter and natter. now that I have one it's better. We'll have to play again soon.

White Worm. haha, I accidently cancelled our game when I meant to send a message. I had to turn off my mic there was a tremendous amount of echoing and static so I'm not sure if you could hear me or not.

Dennis, I was all double you tee eff. he quit. I only just got a handle on his lau and wasn't taking insane damage all the time and he quit! I think you likely will play her better than me but I'm game anyway.

 

If we can register for WCG, I would do that, but didnt Yosuke have problem because he is not American citizen or something like that?

Man, I wanna somebody to make this clear because i wanan join WCG next year, but if I'll have trouble like Yosuke, I'd never join that tournament for sure.

I hate stuffs which pain in the ass as hell.
