GG to you as well. Even though you call them beatings you did very well. If anyone is unfamiliar with Shun he can definitely have an advantage in the hands of someone experienced. I remember my friends and I always saying back in the VF4 days that he screwed up the game (half jokingly). This was/is because of his many body contorting moves. Things seem to miss, weird things happens, just all around bizzare stuff sometimes. I can't even count how many strange things used to happen with my matches between ETPharaoh's Lion back in VF4.

As to your XBox message you sent me last night about the sabaki at the end of the match - yes our characters weren't quite facing each other, but I swear they've improved Shun's homing ability in VF5. Maybe they've done this with all characters, but a great example is Shun's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. This is the move resulting in a handstand if you press /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. The last move, the kick, magically zones almost no matter where the opponent is. <not complaining> =)

I wouldn't lay all the blame on Shun in those instances. We just learned each other's movements so well and given the... "quirkiness" of our characters it just got plain bizarre sometimes - as you well know Lion can pull off some odd shit. Btw, even though we talked about this the other night regarding how it doesn't need to be said: gg's all these years - especially recently. Where would I be without having to contend with the "hook" punch, the "beetle" etc.? Or how about my "scuttle" punch? The "strategy" punch that was Taka's nemesis? Downtown to Chinatown? Or the classic "Up" kick? Good times.

People are probably wondering what the hell we're talking about. Ahh good ol' Downtown to Chinatown. And I forgot about the strategy punch. That's actually why Taka retired from VF. He was afraid of it.

Speaking of bizarre stuff didn't something weird happen last night? Actually I think there was more than one instance but the main one I remember was my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif. I can't remember what move you were doing but our characters went through each other with me ending up with the hit from the other (wrong) side.

You're definitely right though - GGs all these years!! Oh, and if you didn't know my favorite situation (but I'm sure you could guess) is my /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif going under your /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/u.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. =P

 

Man its always fun to fight you Vfhayato, you always keep me on point. Cadorna youve gotten better but I will say you could win more fights if you mix up your throws. Ill be on in a short time until then 'good fight and a good night.

Good games Akirazero. Lei fei confuses me. That was actually my first time ever fighting any type of lei fei, So it was kinda weird. It looked like you were a bit off though.
