Good Games Thread

No worries man. I know all about being out of focus. I think the whole matchup was funny though. Obviously not our best characters so it wasn’t as intense as our Akira vs Lion matches, but I still had fun.

I’m trying to find another main myself so that’s why I was trying Jeff. Right now I’m thinking Jacky or Kage, but who knows who I’ll stick with. Maybe Jeff but I’m not sure. I just lose interest too fast and so far Lion is the only one I can keep going back to without getting bored. I’ve tried Akira, Shun, and El Blaze too but haven’t liked them enough to put in any real time. But I’ll bust out the Jeff again if you want. He’s fun to mess around with even though I don’t think I’ll main him over someone else.

 

I believe everyone second character is always going to be Big Jefferson. He just so great.

 

GGs to DaBadSeed today. You've really showed me how I'm nowhere close to where I want to be, and nowhere close to where I should be.

I think I'll take a hiatus from online play. I'll work in Quest Mode for awhile to build up my basics. I'm an absolute retard when it come to inputting things correctly and reacting to situations. I'll have to spend some serious time addressing these issues.

GG's SoulKatana for being my first Kage match online. I played a few matches against my brother offline with Kage then decided I could give him a try on Live. It was fun. I got a long ways to go but I think I'm liking him for now. I've messed with him before in the past so I know him a little, but still need to learn combos and his flowcharts. We need to play more man, hopefully at a decent hour your time. I had no idea it was 4am your time. It was only 8:20pm mine. I could learn a lot from you. You got a good Kage.

And sorry again about quitting after the first match. Like I said my buttons were configured all wrong on the 2p side so I had to fix them. Thanks for playing me again after that.

Stompoutloud, loved the yomi mind games. For anybody who plays this man and thinks he wins cuz of abare/lag/luck/b.s. just figure him out and watch him switch it up again and again. Stomp, you're in my top 10 list for most fun players on XBL but it must suck to play you for people who can't figure you out and even when they do figure you out, you immediately switch up. I bet you must get a lot of hate messages

KingOfVF4, regardless of how laggy our fights can get your yomi is what wins fights. If it's one thing I've learned from good players like yourself is that good yomi will beat lag, cheap 2P tactics and even the mighty DMP+K!

ThePlagueBegins, it's great to play an unorthodox Brad with flash and a fun style.

MackFactor, great to see new blood playing VF. You did great.

ggs to tfam. that was a really fun set we played. Those matches where i am subtly outclassed is where i make the most progress. I feel like my goh lvled against u today, even if u kept on beating him.

ggs to Dre Fei. Ur blaze beats me, ur brad owns me. That was brutal. I was getting mad and what have u, but it's good for me. When did u use Lei Fei (i'm assuming u did at 1 time, given ur name).

ggs to Mana Knight. Sorry i couldn't stay longer.

ggs to Cozby. I think i've played u since the last ggs.

ggs to mackfactor, learning the whole cast. Let me know sometime how u feel that's working for u. I've always wanted to do that, but don't feel like i got time.

ggs to grusselgrosser. I was playing u angry. So i had to quit. Jacky always draws that out of me.

ggs to aero raxel, another jacky. won a few lost a few, won a few more, and i was done with jacky for the knight

ggs to Templario's Akira. ya, hate to do it, but he beat me as many as i beat him. And his wins were more solid.

Sigh. Some of akira's throw combos are just unstoppable to me.

ggs to None other blaze. It's funny watching u do some the things with blaze u do with shun. Kinda cool seeing ur play style like that. It's hard to see peoples natural patterns of attack sometimes when they use lei/shun/brad/lau. I'm sure u could throw a few more in there too.

Shun is Drunk: Sorry didn't mean to win and leave/stall so much I was trying to
get some games in while setting appointments/working. It's all I can do sometimes.

None Other: Good Games, again I was in and out my bad. Pretty even matches, not
that we played much.

Konjou: I don't know what was up with that Vanessa but it was only 2 games. I'm
sure if you weren't foolin around you would have figured me out eventually.

Whoever I missed.

 

Good games to evryone last night. Was the most ppl we had in our vf xbox live party. Had 2 vf xbox live parties going at 1 time, total of 12 ppl all on mics playing VF.

Being playing alot of good players lately and getting some good feed back on my gameplay.

drfamillia, i think im a 11111 player, lol. Hopefully with more exp i can correct my tendancies to stop making the same mistakes..appreciate u going on mic and giving me good advise. Btw, later that night my eteg's were much better, i started now to imply eteg's after whiffed moves that have slow recovery time. I can only do 2 consistantly, i want to be able to do 3 one day. (only B and F, or DF and neutural )

Dolyphynn144: Spend more time fighting and less time worrying about if the opponent is giving his/her all. It's not always about attacking willy-nilly. Nice game overall.

AssassinCP: No, we didn't play each other (since the match with Kaminari wore me out), but the trash-talking we were doing was off the chain.
