Good games to slide. Very nice Sarah, even more so than last time we fought. Good games also to LA Akira... wow... what a beat down from Jacky. Just got out-yomi'd at every turn for most of it. Fortunate to get away with a few games. I think my main problem was that I'm not used to struggling Jacky's staggers. Usually I can struggle most staggers and duck the throw. His, didn't produce that reaction at all to me. Maybe I was just "off" today? Who knows. Great, solid play from your end though.

Out of place in this thread, but BAD GAMES to slayerfaith1982. We were playing, then just all around complaining on every move that I did or that was blocked/countered, then the kicker was when he started talking about the Kabuki makeup that my Akira was wearing made him look like a real "chink", and he proceeded to talk about Japanese, Asians, cursing them, and making other racial slurs. Sadly, this was coming from someone who was on my friends list. I proceeded to quit the match after that one, remove him from my friend's list, and then he tried to chalk it up to him being "drunk". If you can reduce yourself to being a blatant racist just from drinking alcohol, then clearly you shouldn't be drinking. Also, I don't know alcohol to PUT feelings into people, but I do know it to loosen up inhibitions so your feelings/thoughts come forward. Definitely disappointment of the night (and I'm not even Asian).

 

it be great to play offline one day, there was plenty of inputs and tactics you can't implement too well online due to the timing,(inashi, some low throw setups, fuzzy etc) maybe one day a uk/usa meet up.. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif yeah geewai is a real trooper/adict /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif he'll keep coming and coming! oh and yeah your defense is super strong too, weird to go up against someone with a similar guard lol

Props to Konjou Akira(Somehow you was of my list?) My El Blaze is getting there, but freaking Akira is freaking quick. I need to use El Blaze "P+K+G" mid attack swipe more often in order to calm that man down. Awesome matches Chibiaya, always enjoy the sparing sessions. Sorry for the drop connection there. I can't believe you just started using Jacky, you had him going NUTS! Happy Friend78(I believe) Has very sneaky Lau....Never seen Lau so chill, but explosive, hard to explain, I'm stealing your STYLE MAN! LOL. Oh yeah, props to a UK El Blaze player who show me a solid juggle combo I didn't know about( I think he's name starts with a "Y") If ya know who I'm talking about, let me know.

Thanks man, yeah, I've been dreaming of VF online for years and now that it's here I can't seem to get enough of it. I get bored of fighting the computer and none of my friends or family even know what VF is, so I haven't really been playing seriously for years and now I'm trying to catch up. I actually need LOTS of help Konjou! LOL, can't get past 5th dan and I've been demoted to 3rd so many times it's not even funny...

 

GGs Sorias! I have to tell you, I'm in love with your Aoi, she looks so good. Very close matches, always fun. I can't really evade a lot against you and that forces me to rethink tactics a bit. GGs!

Outfoxd, man, I used to at least snatch one victory from time to time against you, now I can't barely touch you! GGs

Thanks DubC! I'm wondering what the difference you see is exactly. Of course I try to play Shun as unique as possible, and that also of course ends up emulating Japanese play since they are the best. I used to love SHU but I've since moved on to being inspired by ItaZan.

My philosophy with Shun, or rather what I eventually want to turn him into for me is a character that does not need to rely much on defense, instead relying on in your face, non-stop offense. I admit this was easier to do in the beginning but now it seems like people are learning my tricks. I have to keep practicing!

Much props need to go to ETPharaoh, Boido E, and Longpig2000. Those were the only three people I have had practice with over the last six years. ETPharaoh's Lion in a way shaped my Shun. I played VF2 and VF3 avidly in Japan but haven't had the chance since.

Ever since VF1 I was a Jacky player. I played him exclusively until the very end of VF3TB when I started dabbling with Shun and Taka. To this day I wish Taka was still around. GOD I LOVED PLAYING HIM!!!!!

When VF4 came around I started out with Jacky but soon phased him out. I even picked up Jeffry a little bit but my god did they change him in VF5 (or so it feels to me).

I've been taking a little bit of a break lately due to the feeling of executing the same crap over and over. Watch out though everyone when I come back!!! =)

GG's to Freeze, Oioron, DaBadSeed, Geewaio, Nappy Prophet and Yupa VFDC. I was really impressed with the Bad Seed, the way he came back from 2-0 to win, 'Good Fight man. And a shout out to Cirex... love your Mk finnshing mov... oops wrong game, but good fight man.

A few more things:

1) F Jeffrey, Lau, Vanessa, and good Aoi's (thank god no one uses Kage). Just me venting because my experience in playing against them are pretty much nil. Thats why I love online play...the more experience the better.

2) If you want to play me in Player Matches then send me an invite message...wait for my reply... then create the game and DON'T LEAVE. A lot of the time I get there and you close the room already. Pretty much pisses me off

3) Don't stomp or ground hit me after a match. For some reason it gets me angry and "you don't want to see me when I get angry - Hulk /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

3) Chief Flash stop avoiding me (Wolf on Wolf action)... I have a Shiney Wizard with your name all over it..jk /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
