GG to Dennis. I finally got to play you Saturday night, although it was only two games. The first one you raped me. And the second one I squeezed out the win by getting out of your /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif (somewhat lucky). I don't often go for /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif throw escapes, but it was a triple throw escape I entered. =)

I like the way you play him. I saw a couple combos I haven't seen before. GG!

I played some yesterday but kept getting the disk is dirty message and it would kick me back out to dashboard. So I'm sorry if I connected to anyone here and it did that. Luckily it happened at the start up menu right before the fight and not during a match. But I won't be online again until I can fix it, or I get a new disk.

I think my brother moved the xbox with the game running and it scratched a ring around it.

BTW.. Do u experience any huge laggs when fighting me?

 

Most of the time it was reasonably smooth, with a bit of lag every now and again. I would not say huge.

Konjou, Bro' Ive been playing against you with my Fios internet the whole time. Well anyway, GG's Slayer Faith, Chun, Outfoxd and vfhayato... J6Commander and sorry I didnt have enough time to play against some of you guys.

Ur Shun Di is fucking amazing!!! I think u and "LA AKIRA" are the best Shun players!!!! I'm really curious about what is the result if you two guys playing^^

Actually in my opinion, Shun Di is the TOP ONE character since VF4 FT, and he is becoming sooooo unpredicable for me........

I really need to play with u and "LA AKIRA" more and more to get familiar with this "S Level" role.

btw, I'm also wondering about Konjou. How do u deal with Shun Di and Lau??

 

Well thanks to Jhow77, I have learned that you can't fight Shun head on. So now I apply pressure, but only for a limited time. I back off every now and then. Shun is so unpredictable it's very easy to get hit by something random. Shun also has very good mix ups and range, so it's very easy to be hit by something unexpected and Jhow77 does this type of weird attacking and timing very well.

As for Lau, well no offense to any of the Lau players, but I have not played a Lau online that I consider a BIG threat. If I play very, very carefully I am very confident I can win many times versus most Lau players. If I use my bulldog style then I can lose very easily since I am expecting my opponent to play really fast like how me and you play. But most Lau players don't use anything advance or play fast so that style just won't work. Like I said, a small exception goes to BETABOW. His Lau is amazing and has great mixups. But I have lots of Lau experience from fighting Kazu who is the strongest Lau I have ever faced outside of Japan and they are simply not on that level yet. They are close, but not quite their. I actually have more trouble fighting Goh, Akira, El Blaze, and Pai.

 

I'd like to get some games with jhow, adam and you too dennis. lately i've been messing around with jacky cuz he was one of my porblem characters but playing him really helped me learn how to deal with him. I think shuns biggest strength well over his other strengths it that as long as its early game or has some sort of a lead, he can force the opponent to come to him with the fear of drinking. The drinking also tends to make some players inclined to use moves than knock off drink points more often gives shun players a slightly easier time yomi-ing those moves. According to arcadia, shun is A tier, not S tier in version C and I personally think he has a tough time with certain matchups.

 

so Ikap Killa just schooled me lol. Didn; t have a chnace but it was nice fighting a fellow Eileen.

well I was going to give a gg to Geewiho(pai) but then he dropped on due to frustration i bet. Cheated me out of crucial ranking ppints i need to move to Gladiator. Oh well!

 

Due to the randomness of XBL match making in VF5 i played LA Akira funky Orange Hair Black Jacky heh and RatGoat's Shun *i think* got my butt handed to me ggs
