1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Thanks a lot for the feedback. A stepping guide & a guide to nitaku mix-ups for Goh, and more is on the way.

Finally the Stepping Guide is up and running. Hope it is of any help (it was for me, at least :D).

    Hey Leonard,

Great article. However, I notice that your flow chart shows not being able to cancel crouch dashes into evades, but then just slightly further down you suggest changing the box step movement up to do exactly that.

As far as I know, you can cancel crouchdashes into evades..

    Hi deathsushi,

unfortunately, you cannot evade-cancel a crouch-dash in VF5. I made a mistake with the CD Box Step figure which I corrected now.

Ah word up - good to know. So if I want to gain the benefit of being able to guard cancel and remain ducking, I'm not going to be able to use evade to cancel out of that..

    The plot thickens... /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

    Okay, quick question.

Who the heck is Leonard McCoy???? (no offense Leonard)
I enjoy the blog, seems to have some real quality advice, but no one ever mentions him, i've never played him, etc...... Where are you/where is he in comparison to the other really good players: dBS, adam, saramus (cheif flash), gentleman thief, etc...

He's a big departure from lei fei and fits my personality much worse, but that's kinda the point. Thanks for taking the time. Keep up the great work.

I decided to face-lift Goh Notes again. I wasn't too happy with the newspaper layout, which also had its share of foibles.

With a new, clean, and bright design Goh Notes shall become much clearer. More posts will decorate the front page now, and all-in-all I got rid of widgets I didn't really need. At first, the video bar is gone too. I'll think about that later.

But not only the visual get an overhaul, old articles get revised too, and new ones are in the writing. A new version of the Blue Book may also see the light--with updated VS. tactics and revised "universal" combos.

But first I will dust off my old articles and guides that are in need of a format correction now. I won't miss the chance to add new bits here and there to those articles though.

I hope it's all for the better :D.

Nice design - more clear, but personally for me it is glamour a little (imo need more strict wallpaper and colours for Goh "Assasin" blog =))

Technology sets some limits here for me so that I fear theme switches are impossible to integrate. Most important to me however is that more than three posts are visible on the front page now.
Apart from that, a bit glamor hasn't harmed us yet.
