Buying the game plus both bundle packs = $45

Buying the game and each character pack individually = $110

Buying the character packs would just be stupid

$45 is a fuckin steal. Specially when you compare that to paying $60 for shitty games like SF X Tekken.

Dude, are you kidding? with shipping, + special edition, + 2 costumes, SFxT cost me 87 dollars. I don't even like that game. I thought i would.
And, it's not even about the DLC on disc.. If Capcom were going to charge money for that content, they would have charged for it, regardless of where it was stored.

The stupid amount of safe attacks in the game is rediculous, added with the stupid amount of block stun. Game is feakkin terrible, and I'm forcing myself to enjoy it.

All the characters, except maybe 4, are interesting to me in VF5. So, I don't see myself being disappointed. I guess after wasting so much, on a game which face value is about 25 bucks, and paid 87 for it, I'm just a little antsy on the price..

But, I had my mind made up all along that I was buying all the content from the game, and completely dropping SFxT when this game around...

Something I wanted to know, though... Are the VF5:R stages, and music tracks being added to the console version of VF5:FS?

      All my happiness.

£30 for the game with all the items seems fine.

*Goes off to buy more Microsoft points*

£10 for the game itself seems an absolute steal. I guess it's priced lower than the maximum XBL limit to entice as many people as possible and then make some money on the items. Which is what we've always expected. I for one am going to buy all the items and support Sega.

Yeah, I know.. perhaps I'm complaining about nothing. Can't wait to put SFxT in a box and never touch it again. I might buy 1 more costume, but, no way I'm spending another 20 bucks on characters.

Can't wait for this, and TTT2.

Great news! I'm actually really happy it took so long to announce the release date, feels like we won't have to wait as long now [IMG]

Something to note: you can actually get microsoft point cheaper in a lot of online shops!

Great news for VFDC! Bad for myself since I'm not able to download XBL version when it's launched. Guess I'll see you guys on PSN at first for a while.

      First, Thank God.
Second, I have to say that I am over-joyed.
      Third, Sega, its about time.

With the PSN you don't buy points you just add money to your PSN account and purchase things from the store. All the prices are denominated in dollars. You can either add points online by charging a credit/debit card, or you can do like I do and buy the preloaded cards from a physical store such as Wal-Mart or Gamestop and load the cards onto your PSN account. That allows you to buy stuff with giving Sony your real name or address.

I suspect not. Since they are selling packs for the individual characters you should be able to buy just the Sarah DLC and get only her items. I would guess that the $14.99 packs will be one for all the girls and one for all the guys, and that if you buy one you get all the items for all the characters listed in that DLC pack.

However, what we don't know is whether you will be able to see someone else's customization if you don't own that character's DLC.

Personally I would suggest that instead of spending $5 on just one character, wait one week and buy the $15 pack that contains the character. Surely you can save-up $5 or $10 per week. In this economy everybody wastes $10 every week on junk and wasted gas mileage.

It is really a steal when you consider that the entry point is $14.99. If you are pressed for cash you can spend $15 the on release day. While you play you can wait a week or two and buy pack 1, and then wait a week or two and buy pack 2.

Sega has to realize that VF has a very small base but the VF base is probably the most hard core base in gaming. They should probably offer new playable stages as DLC over time. Imagine if we had about 100 stages to choose from.

Wait, you can already unlock costume pieces in the game, but, they're selling 14,000 additional ones? Or, am I wrong.. Do you actually only get to mix and match the original costumes?...

Also, what about the VF5:R stages and music tracks? Do we even get those? Or, the original VF5 stages? It's odd that they've been totally removed from the console version.

so many hater comments on these trailers...
im really sick and tired of this game not getting the love it deserves just because people won't go the extra mile and actually LEARN!!!! I mean seriously, playing marvel and Tekken are for scrubs, PERIOD! those games shouldn't even see the light of day in the competitive scene, yet they are the most popular! people need to get up off their lazy asses and play something worthwhile!
