Fuzzy guard ~ option select attack

    I'm struggling to work out what's going on here...

    From what I can tell it's pretty much same idea as the technique in your original post but instead of entering an attack during the blockstun, you enter a low throw escape then if opponent did a mid 2p will come out if it was a throw you get the throw escape?

    Is that right?

    Yeah, instead of using just an ordinary attack after the fuzzy guard, use eg 3pkg or 6pkg (only a few chars can use 6pkg). If they did a mid, you're still in blockstun and nothing comes out; if they did a high throw, a punch or lowpunch will come out; if they did a low throw, the low throw escape will come out.

    Am i correct in thinking that this (3pkg) would beat a delayed throw as well? or is there a couple frames between the fuzzy and the low punch where the opponent can grab you?

    Yeah it can beat delayed throw unless its timed to 0-frame during the frames you're standing guard. In the video I tried to kg cancel throw and was a little too slow, the 6pkg beat it.
