    Dealing with the roll?

So just how do you deal with it properly? Close/mid, nobodys adv you do a midelbow (stagger) or something (or croucthrow), big distance you could perhaps boxstep? Did the Jeff try to fuzzygaurd it? Is fuzzygaurd a valid option? It seems very strong and with great successratio in the FT clips that have surfaced with Lei so far - specially if applied in the right situations /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I don't think there's any way to fuzzy it. The jump kick is very delayable, and not telegraphed at all.

Just don't ever techroll, problem solved. If you're standing at it's max range, you can probably just interrupt the roll.

Yea... you don't see the roll that much because you can just mid kick him to death out of it...

The roll is quite good as a TR two choice option. The damage is not very good but it's a much needed improvement for Lei since he basically has no close range game. If you're scared to TR because you're scared of the roll then it's doing its job just fine. /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

You're right in that you can't fuzzy it, but you can't delay the jump kicks. I believe you must input either the kick or throw in advance (i.e. during the roll). So you can't wait-and-see what the opponent is doing at the end of the roll before you decide what to do.

And if you're at close range and have a low throw, then you can low throw him out of it. But, the best time a Lei will use this is from far away and when you're at a big disadvantage (like after a knockdown, etc).

IMO these are the dopest clips going

Nagato is still on fire, even though he wasn't really seen much in Evo, so sick.

And Fudou goes apeshit with the new DP in the clip before this one

    such nice matches
