1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Lol, almost thought you were Srider for a sec because of the Eileen avatar (just not too common yet).

    Can't help you out, but...

That Namco Stick rules. I felt that before Hori came out with the Real Arcade Pro (which obviously came out before the Virtua Stick High Grade), it was the best retail console arcade stick you could get.

Heck, wrote a blog on my personal impressions of various retail arcade sticks over the years here.

It's no authoritative review, just my personal impressions of the various arcade sticks I've tried out.

No problem at all 001. I am NOT sorry I purchased the JC-PS201. It was well worth it to be able to play VF5 (under much better conditions) well over a month before the Pelican converter came out. =).

Hey guys, new to the forum.

Got the Pelican converter yesterday. I can confirm that it has no noticeable issues with a stock T5 US Hori or my crappy wireless Pelican Xbox/PS2 stick I picked up for 10 bucks. No noticeable lag or input drops at all. Supports all sticks that do not have an analog button as it has a built in PS button on the converter itself.

If it helps you guys any, DreamTR from the SRK boards apparently aided in its development, and everyone from the SRK boards has nothing but praise for this converter. After giving it several hours of testing, I can share that praise with them. Pick it up.

You can get it here for $4.99 + S/H:

so the logic3 or pelican adapters are the best ones to get and will definitely work with the old PS1 Namco stick?

I cant find the pelican adapter anywhere and I cant find the logic3 adapter anywhere that will ship to Australia.

Does it work for guitar games? Specifically GuitarFreaks?

GuitarFreaks is not mentioned. I sent them an email. Let's see what happens.

I am actually using a pelican converter and I have cheap PS2 stick that cost me about 10 dollars on amazon and my it works just fine on my PS3 with no real lag at all. I can even play VF5 on PS3 with my PS2 stick if I want and it works just fine. The issue I have isn't the stick it is my natural tendencies to use a pad I am so much faster with a pad that I might not use the stick for VF5 at all, I very likely will use just for SC4 since I am somewhat used to playing SC with a stick anyways because I play it that way at the arcade once in a while. The stick I have is a DBZ style stick with DBZ characters on it with basics features like autofire and the analog button that I would find on a normal PS2 controller

I have also played around with it in GG AC, Tekken 5 DR, and Street fighter aniversary edition and I like the feel of the stick but I am way too slow for the basic motions I need and it isn't the stick's fault either. I can't do ken's uppercut motion ( /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif) fast enough with a stick to really use it in a real match. I would try it on my 360 but I have the 3 lights of death and I can't use my 360 at the moment once I get it working again I will see if my 360 converter works for it the requirement it said was that the PS controller be wired and the PS stick I have is wired so I don't see any real issues but I will have to try it out myself when I get my 360 working. I am so used to using a pad that I don't think I will ever truly use the stick as well as most people do, I will practice it more but I don't really see myself using it very much in VF or any other game aside from SC unfortunately.
