Ok, not trying to start a flame war or anything, but the 360 port is Version C right? Or at least that is what I've heard. Is so, this will give me enough time to actually purchase the system.

Very little for the 360 release has been confirmed. We're all hoping, since the estimated release dates keep getting pushed back, that they are in fact going to give 360 owners Version C, but no one has verified any of the claims yet.

Sega should provide the same version to both the PS3 and the XBOX 360. That would definitely make me feel as if I'm not wasting my time when I'm practicing on my PS3 version. It's not fun knowing that I'm practicing on a version that feels outdated in less than a few months after my purchase. In fact, I'd feel cheated. Another reason why I think they should keep the same version for both system is that it will unite the virtua fighter players over here. Instead of dividing up the already small pool of virtua fighters between XBOX C's and PS3 B's, why not merge them into one massive fanbase that's fluent in one version so that they can fight each other more easily on either system?

Ideally, Sega should update the PS3 with version C and release the same version to the XBOX 360 unite the VF fighers rather than divide them. Otherwise, stronger Tekken and DOA countries will come in and further divide and conquer.

yea but this is the first time a microsoft system gets a VF game. i dont even care if i own the old version. as long as VF gets more exposure and a new fan base. i have a bad feeling we might have to import VF games in the near future. not that most of us didnt already import the game but it sucks when you dont have a choice.

You make a good point, but as a 360 owner, I would hope there's a better reason to have to wait for one of my favorite games to be released for my home console than "well, they paid us not to release it earlier."

It's certainly not going to help the people who have to wait that the PS3 crowd has a massive advantage over them.
