Final Showdown Ver.A Rev.1 Location Test Update

    [​IMG]Starting on November 8th, Version A Revision 1 of Final Showdown will be on test at Ikebukero GIGO, Club Sega Akihabara, and Club Sega Nishi-Shinjuku until the official release of the game.

    Changes to the game system
    The advantages on throw escape after the following throws have been made consistent. The frames shown below are before/after the update.

    Jacky
    Right side throw -3/+2

    Jeffry
    63214P+G -3/-6
    Back to full wall, 66P+G -3/-6
    Back to half wall, 66P+G -3/-6
    Left side throw -3/+2
    Right side throw -3/+2
    Left side throw 64 or 46P+G -3/+2
    Right side throw 64 or 46P+G -3/+2
    3P+G -3/-6

    Lau
    P+G -3/-6
    Left side throw -6/+2

    * Side tech roll bonus has been removed. This was a technique where the opponent could not block your attack during specific situations.

    About Items
    No new items will be added during the location test, but they will be added once the game is officially in operation.

    Update: According to Kamaage at the VF Dojo, not only have items been added, but new costumes as well!

      @ChiefGutti, no worries about the language confusion! I always had a feeling we were talking about the same thing too.

      @Mister, I don't think so! I suspect there's a popular misconception about "side guard" floating around the forums? Side guarding isn't a special technique, it does not negate disadvantage frames, nor is it anything new to FS. You can guard attacks from the side just the same in all versions of VF5 -- by pressing [G]. The only difference FS introduces is that it now shows a special animation for the side guard which is a really helpful way of showing the player they're in a side turned state.

      There are still 3 frames of disadvantage associated with being side turned in FS, just as there were in vanilla, and R. Read the last footnote in Arcadia 124 VF5FS System notes thread.

      Are those side throw changes the only ones gameplaywise ?
