Oh nice! I live in BC too, Victoria to be exact, you? Hmm, judging from the brackets posted, it doesn't appear to have any other Canadians present besides you. There will be a few in Sega Cup though.

Mhm damn that's far away! Yeah, if you're just starting out then I think the main purpose of your trip in SCR would be more of the casuals portion than the actual tournament itself. There's some really cool guys there like Airgerin and Icky who I can vouch for, if I were you I'd learn as much as I could from the players attending and it will really speed up the process and gauge whether this game is for you or not. From there (or now) you can read this extensive wiki: http://virtuafighter.com/wiki/index/

That will teach you the core mechanics of the system in this game. You can play online with players on PSN or XBL if you have the console and game as well.

For sure! I mean, im no stranger to majors, ive been to about 11 or so of em, with Devastation 2011 being my first. But all for MK or injustice. Im planning on retiring after SCR but i wanted to see how well i could do in this game since ive been playing it about 3 months ish. I will still continue to play online and what not however and in the PNW

OK. Sorry this is post is so close to the date, but we need some help in the way of systems and monitors. I've been told we need two monitors and one PS3 with the game loaded on to it. You also need to arrive at SCR by 8:30 am.

Please post up if you can help save the day.
