there are shops, but the only stick they have is that damned pelican one, wich i bought and regretted to ever since, been trying to sanwa mod the hell out of it, anyways the problem is mostly shipping, credit cards are easy, and there´s money, but not enough to pay 2x the price of the stick just to have it shipped here, also converters are harder to find here, cos the shops only cater to the mainstream stuff, not converters or sticks or anything else for that matter, just games, and high selling ones at that.

    First post here, Hi

I love Virtua Fighter despite the only versions ive played are 4, EVO and the classic mode on EVO PS2. Infact I love it so much im willing to put all my fanboyism aside and get what ever next-gen console gets the game.

With that being said I would still rather it go to the PS3 merely for the fact that it WILL be the more powerful console, admittedly probably less than sony stated it would be. Sony also has an XBL online service in the works... So if they are indeed telling the truth (ps3live) and online IS incorperated into VF5 then a PS3 version would be the best port technically. Much like if Final Tuned had been ported to the Xbox last gen.

There has been a lot of discussion here about the 360 as a piece of hardware, it's online functions, games etc. The thread is called "VF5 for XB360" and is a discussion of what that possibility might mean. I thought the Far Cry video was interesting for people who are interested in what the 360 hardware can do. This thread is about the 360, I posted a link to a 360 tech demo. It's not off topic.

Some people have pointed out that the 360 and XBox Live could really do justice to what AM2 is trying to do with things like VF.tv etc. Since you felt the need to make your 2nd post here some kind of smartass remark, I'm guessing it isn't quite as easy to "put all my fanboyism aside" as you thought it would be?

[/ QUOTE ] Half of my posts on the internet are smart-ass remarks, I mean nothing by it. But really although Predator looks fing awsome it really doesnt have anything to do with the topic at hand, this how ever does.

Now I was an Xbox fanboy last generation because of Live and the power of the system. But Sony has really stepped up their game, their going with an XBL type service this gen instead of an open crap thing.

I would say your droolings over predator are justified, but more fanboyish than my comments /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif now I gtg to work.

I have a hard time believing in PSLIve or anything that Sony comes up with in regards to online functionality.

I will move that info to the " I will believe it when I see it" category

I don't get about how many they sale. I just want Virtua Fighter 5 to go to the right place. Somewhere it will be what Virtua Fighter should be. If PS Live can't match MS's service than it's a waste. Right now, what system I buy is dependant on this game and I hope whatever one it lands on will have the patches needed for any fighting game. Especially if the arcade is limited.

Regardless for what all you guys & girls think, it would be more profitable for SEGA to release VF5 for both the PS3 & Xbox 360 in consideration for the US & Japanese markets.

Not necessarily true. Higher revenue...yes; higher profits...maybe.

I would preffer to open up access to this game to as many gamers as possible. To help boost it in the West.
I favor it being on both PS3 and 360.

But for selfish reasons, if Sega decides to chose only one console exclusivly. The would preffer the PS3. (I intend to only buy 1 PS3 + 1 Rev)

    Semi-update:

I read today in a UK mag called 'games' that SEGA apparently have confirmed that VF5 will NOT be coming to X360.

This was in their VF5 preview in which they also mentioned "Virtua Fighter Dot Com" as where they study the frame data and discuss why Lau is so cheap (pp).

Sega has done no such thing.

I'll just throw my 2 cents in to this.

At this point, the japanese distributors have been given no clear release date for VF5. They were originally told "Spring 2006" however, that has been changed to "Fall 2006".

At least that's what my most recent email says regarding the purchase of a VF5 kit.

    Cheers.
