Evolution 2k4 is announced

That sounds good. I'm staying at the Shilo Inn with several other players and I'm leaving Ponoma late Sunday. I'm only playing GGXX, T4, and VF4evo which I've been concentrating on the most.

I actually feel a lot more nervous playing in the VF4evo tourney then the other two mainly because I have no experience at all playing against very good VF players. I do feel like a newbie stepping into the VF tourney scene and I'm going to need all the practice I can get after registering. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

 

Coming from Socal Team. There shouldn't be a problem holding tournaments outside of Evo. Seems like every night will be VF night...So keep an eye on future announcements.

If that post was made by you, would you like to enlighten us as to why you'd actively encourage the arcade NOT to get FT?

I don't think you know what anyone in SoCal will do. Current SoCal VF trends indicate that if AI gets FT and keeps its version up to date, SoCal players are likely to have gatherings and tournaments there because of centralized location - even if a PS2 version is released.

You gain nothing by AI not getting FT. It's a total lose-lose situation. I don't see what good that post could do. I think AI is run by shrewd business people who are well aware of their profits. The Evo machine is still there today. If it wasn't still making money, I'm sure they would be using the space for something else.
