Can't the [2]+[P]+[K],[K] on the end be TR'ed? I'm not at my machine right now so I can't check. It just seems it would hit very low.

    Off the wall TFTs

    just to add something unique..

whenever u TFT someone off of a high wall (TFT starts with your back facing the wall, maybe 1-1.5 dashes away from the wall) there is a huge damage potential.. u can easily get ~95 dmg.. a few combos that i use normally (these should work against everybody.. since the combo is really just an apex hit and a followup):

    [4]+[P]+[G] (high wall hit) -> [2_][6]+[K] -> [3]+[K]+[G]

98 damage, time the knee to hit right after the wall hit.. pretty easy.. might even add 13 more (to make it 111) with a down attack if they don't TR

    [4]+[P]+[G] (high wall hit) -> [6][2][3]+[P]+[K][K] -> [3]+[K] (down attack)

80 + 13 down attack = 93.. same as above.. go up at the right time and the dragon punch will connect, the canned K will slam down, land, then do the down attack

edit: forgot about another (the common japanese one):

    [4]+[P]+[G] (high wall hit) -> [4]+[P][K] -> [3]+[K]+[G]

101 damage /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif ...never checked the dmg out in training until a few mins ago.. also works on everyone.. again could add 13 more dmg (to make it 114 /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif ) if the person doesn't tech roll

I think you mean [2]+[P]+[K],[K] on the end. [4]+[P]+[K] is his HP/HE reversal. /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I just want to clarify something about TRing slam hits.

The rule is, TR from a slam is only possible if you are face up and feet towards.

When you are slammed in the TFT combo with [6][K]+[G], TR is not possible because you are face down, feet towards.

TRing from the [2][K] isn't that hard to do on reaction, once you know your opponent likes to do it now and then. In any case, you can just start mashing [P]+[K]+[G] as a part of your recovery and should he low kick you, you'll TR it. No special timing is required.

Just to add something else to do with TRing against Kage:

A common followup to Kage's [6][P]+[G] throw is the [6][2][3][P]+[K][K] which is the dragon punch followed by the air kick that slams you. If Kage connects this while you are still BT'd, you cannot TR the slam kick because you're face down feet towards. However, if you hold [4] (i.e. your back, or in the direction of the opponent) when the DP hits, you will be launched into the face up feet towards position instead, from which you can TR the slam kick. When you successfully TR, nothing is guaranteed against Kage but you do have the advantage. Fast mid attacks will beat any [P] or [2][P].

And not to forget something from ver.C which is still applicable and that is heavy weights and the heavier mid-weights (jacky, akira) can hold [2_][G] after the throw to cause the kick to miss entirely.

God I wish I had more time to play this game. Anyways there is quite a lot of new stuff that ninja can do.

    uf+K+G
Remeber against Jeffry and Wolf it's best to do uf+K+G - DP (f,d,df+P+K) as your standard combo, than if they didn't TR do df+K. Against Jeffry in CS you can do uf+K+G - f+K+G - ub+K+G, the last hit can be TRed but it is kinda tricky. It is safer to do uf+K+G - f+K+G - f,f - df+K if you are unsure. Against Wolf in OS you can do uf+K+G - d+P - P - b+P or uf+K+G - d+P - PPb+P, timing is critical and you have to hold forward for the standing jabs.

    TFT
    For Pai and Aoi stick to d+P+K - b+PK - P - f+K+G - f,f - df+K or d+P+K - P - Knee - ub+K+G

    For Lion and Lei-Fei do Knee - b+P - P - f+K+G - f,f - df+K

    For everyone else upto Jacky stick to Knee - db+PKG - P - f+K+G - f,f - df+K

    For Akira and Wolf do Knee - P - P - f+K+G - f,f - df+K

    For Jeffry do Knee - P - f+K+G - f,f - df+K

Knee - f+P+KP+K - ub+K+G cab be done on some characters (Kage, Brad, Van...)

REMEMBER to delay the df+K (hence the f,f ) motion to get maximum damage. Watch th energy bar, if you see one long red damage rating your doing it wrong. If you see and additional smaller red damage rating than you have got the full impact and damage df+K

    D,f+P
d+P+KK is your standard float against heaveir chara's and the likes of Lion etc.

For most character d+P - DP should be your standard combo. It is possible to do d+P - ub+K+G against some characters in OS but it is range dependant, ONLY do this after a CLOSE MC.

    Againt Vanessa open stance you can do D,f+P - P - P - ub+K+G

OS against Aoi and Brad (MC Only) you can do D,f - d+P - K+GPP

BT ub+K or QCF+K (Generally later combos will not work on the heavies and fisrt PKG is done for BT):
    P - ub+K+G
    PKG - P - ub+K+G
    PKG - db+PKG - ub+K+G
    PKG - d+P+K - DP
    PKG - d+P+K - ub+K+G
    PKG - f+K+G (if no TR) - df+K
    PKG - k+GPP (not consistent)
PKG - P - Knee (super high float after charged QCF+K, amybe lightie only)

    [JM] P+K
Only notabe new combo is d+P - K+GPP upto Akira? requires CSwhen you begin the [JM] P+K

    [JM] K+G
K+GPP (Not on Shun, remember you cab do f,f df+K for backstagger)
    Knee (On Shun)
[JM]PK - DP (d+P+KK can be done on lighties instead)
    db+PPb+PK (good for ringout)
b+PK (good for wall hit than do df+K+G)
f+K+G (do df+K if no TR)

    f+K+G:
f+K+G - K+GPP can be done in OS on some characters but it can be TR

    df+P
On normal hit vs Jeff /Wolf you can do K+GPP

    BT ub+K usage:

Doing BT ub+K - BT ub+K is especially usefull if you are playing against characters who try to attach after the initail BT ub+K, especially low jabbers or Akiras who will try to sabaki. The BT ub+K is also useful after a b,b+K+G normal hit.

    Wall combo:
    b,b+K+G (normal hit, wall stagger) BT ub+K - BT PK - df+K+G

The trick to doing this combo against Wolf is that you must do the second [P] with the stick in neutral, and the rest will connect.

For Shun, the anti-drink TFT is:

    [4][P]+[G] ~ [2_][6][K] ~ [6][P]+[K][P]+[K] ~ [6][2][3][P]+[K]

[4]+[P][K], [7]+[K]+[G] (wait for the oponent to get up), [9]+[K]+[G](blocked), [2]+[P], [3]+[P]+[G], [3]+[K], [4]+[P]+[K]+[G](wait for the oponent to get up), [6][6]+[P]+[K]+[G], finnish how you want!
This is not a combo the goes in one, you have to wait for the oponent to get up some times, and all the moves are not suppose to hiy, just trick them, and it works great! takes of a big deal of damage!
