Fact still stands that if you attempted to play something like NiGHTS or PDOrta with a Dual Shock, you'd have hand cramps beyond belief.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Actually that's not a fact at all, that's just your opinion.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    No its pretty much fact

*sigh* It would've been fact if, and only if, Nights and Panzer Dragoon Orta were acually on the PS2. Right now it's an assumption, a guess, an opinion in other words bullshit. If ever one of those game do come out for the PS2 and the majority of the ppl who play it, complain about pains and cramps. Then it might be a fact but right now, all it is, is bs.

No. No it's not. Or would you care to provide the 'proof' behind this 'fact'?

I already explained long ago in this thread why the DS is a piece of shit.
    Simple ergonomics.

Which, again, is your opinion, and not actually a fact.

Would you say the controller design on the GBA SP is ergonomic, then? Or is it just MY OPINION that is very uncomfortable for someone of even moderately sized hands?

Actually I do and when I get the chance I'll go rent Panzer Dragoon.
Since it's fact, I should have pains and cramps, right ? No matter what configs right ?

No, I'm with you on that, the GBA SP (and the original GBA) give me terrible hand cramps after 30 minutes or so. The Dual Shock does not, even after hours. See how opinions work yet?

Urm ergonomics is science not fucking oppinion.
FACT an ergonomic natural keyboard is both better for the wrists fingers etcetera AND faster then a regular rectangular one, people however have been conditioned to learn and like rectangular ones for several hunderds of years now(the old typewriters etcetera as well) so psychologicaly they are conditioned to like crap better.
Same with you and the DS.
    Simple fact ITS SHIT.

No, it's still only your opinion, even if you do type it in REALLY ANGRY CAPS. I've never had cramp from using a DS or a DS2. THAT'S a fact. See how it works?

Guys don't you get it? Zero and Fishie are so arrogant, that anyone that does not agree with them are total idiots in their minds. If someone dares to disagree with them and additionally talks back, watch out, they spaz. Their opinion is fact and law around here, don't go against these higher beings or there will be hell to pay.

Arguing with people like that is just a waste of time.

Anyways back to the sub topic. I've played countless hours on a PS/PS2 controller and have never had problems. In my opinion, the button layout is perfect for any game. I think maybe the sticks and d pad could be improved some, but work perfectly fine for me. Although my friend that has small thumbs/hands, has some troubles doing diagonals with the d pad.

Don't ever try to get a job lawyering at a tobacco company, OK?

"No, nicotine's not addictive or harmful! I've smoked for 20 years and I've never had lung cancer. See? It's just YOUR OPINION."

It doesnt matter if you had cramps or not, the long term effects will most definitly not be beneficial.

I get aches using the DS2 after prolonged playing, nothing major. I own all three current consoles and a few older ones (DC, Saturn, N64) and I've found the GC controller to be the most comfortable currently, granted it's crap for fighting games.

Have to agree on that, though as typical of Nintendo, it's bad for folks with big hands. Than again, considering the target GC audience...

I'm glad you haven't had any cramps from the DS2, but does that make the controller ergonomically well designed? I don't suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome despite only using a regular keyboard, but does that mean my keyboard is ergonomically better designed than the 'Natural Keyboard'?

Sega. Like Korea, they are the underdogs. But look what they did at the last football (that's 'soccer' to you Americans) world cup. They finished 3rd! Who would have thought it!

What I'm trying to say is, just coz it ain't popular, don't mean it ain't the most kick-ass thing since the microchip!

They have a shit promotional campaign compared to Sony and Microsoft and Nintendo, but they ain't no advertising company! They don't have the slickest image, but this ain't no cat-walk!

BUT...they make the best, most revolutionary games and games systems this side of Zero-One (watch the Animatrix)! And that's what this is all about! The first to pioneer 3D games (in fact Virtua Fighter was the first EVER 3D beat 'em up...no Fighter, no Calibur), they were the first to set the standards for 3D racing games (and only few can even now claim to top Sega Rally) and they released the first consoles to have optional analogue controllers and internet access (Sturn and Dreamcast respectively). For f**k's sake, Sega's mascot is a Super Sonic Hedgehog, not a fat plumber in red dungerees!!

And now, someone sitting in some office has the audacity to tell me that Sega is a failing company with no quality and just an OK game called Virtua Fighter 4!?!

Kiss my ass, and let's play The Fighter!
