That's more than enough! Wolf on a giraffe was sick! Blaze flying through the sky on a hotdog whilst wearing a sombrero would be more than payment!

    Super top secret blaze stuff:

On the stage with the ankle height wall you can jump out of the ring and push an attack button the second you get off the ground to get stuck mid animation as you fall in to the water. With jumping K you can fall ass first into the water. Not only will you insult your opponent with your ass drop but you'll also earn 5 additional hotdog points which carry into the next round!

They're going over a lot of the beginner and intermediate material in it. Some interesting stuff though. I see why Shadow Hammer is so used, it's because you can buffer it while dodging over high attacks and the like.

You also get the sense that JP players play safer of course but that's kinda obvious, lol.

its good to use shadowhammer after wall stagger say compared to volcano knee since many intermediate players can shake fast enough to avoid a knee and punish you with a fat launcher.

alot of interesting stuff just looking a their setups for example

    4p if block, throw

4pk if block, rd jump back reset space

4pk if block, rd k counterhits, throw

om, 4pk, rd k safe on block due to sideturn

    om, 4pk, rd 2k if hit 2p, 6pk

    plus tons more

sorry if i offended you seidon but i was just using what i posted as an example of how they break down usage of moves. it doesn't mean that info isn't already here but for me their breakdowns were a good visual tool.

like 4p used as a singular poke that leaves you in throw range since 4pk can't be interrupted in between on block and people usually expect the k followup.

and 4pk on block rd jump back is good because it has the most pushback of the opponent and gives you safe space to jump and avoid retaliation. i see you talking about jumping out of rd but even though i don't understand japanese, they make it pretty clear canceling your rd from a blocked 4pk is probably the best place to use a jump out of all the moves that can be rd'd from guard.

i see you talk about getting a side counterhit but nothing about using om but i guess that counts since there aren't too many ways other than evading or getting hit by k+g. but basically they were doing om 4pk and spent a few minutes on different ways its useful on hit especially after rd k where you are +12 on ch and block are only -1.

i mentioned 4pk on block rd then rd 6k because i usually 2p right after and auto 6pk (bad habit) but still a hit is not guaranteed, so at +9 from the ch rd k a throw is still a good option since you don't get a crumple into combo like if rd k hits someone who is in a staggered state(that was more a reminder for me)

stuff i'm sure you probably posted and i already read but seeing things visually helps me more than reading something and forgetting to practice those things on my own.

anyways i appreciate all you do for the blaze forums seidon. [IMG]

After playing with Femto last night, I got some shenanigans to go with my usual stuff and sweet goodness it's pretty crazy. RD~K (the knee) is way good as is 9K+G. I actually got a guy to put down his controller in the third round because I blew him up so hard in the first two.

It was just some random Goh player on PSN with about 1k matches under his belt. Don't think I saved it but I match was over in like 10 seconds. I hit with two combos and bam dead. Didn't even move the 3rd round.

Did it to this one guy this morning too because I've been practicing a Scratch Rush setup. I think I have accidently uploaded one of them but I played him twice and the second time I got a 175 damage combo on him, he just put down the controller.

Sometimes you just get that unstoppable Lucha Libre flow going and your opponent just doesn't know what to do. I also got a player put down his controller after two rounds.

I had a replay up on XBL that featured that. It was like Ultimo Dragon, Tiger Mask and Mistico had a love child.

A couple good setups for the scratch rush I've found:

    Backdash to [4][6][K]
    - Works against someone immediately at the beginning of a round if they open with an attack, i've cleared someone's health meter multiple times using this.

    [6][6][K] or [9][K]+[G]
    - If you do the scratch immediately after, the timing is perfect to catch them at the end of the stagger.

    After Sidestep
    - though i've found still risker than the above two, handsome scratch works surprisingly well after sidestepping!

    After [P]+[K]+[G] Sabaki
    - It's guaranteed after this, however you really have to be sure your sabaki will succeed, otherwise you'll be pretty open for punishment

And for the record, here are the two full life scratch rush combos I use every now and then if someone's not recovering their staggers:

    [4][6][K], [4][3][P]+[K] to hit throw [P]+[G], [6] to RD, [P]+[K] [K], [3][P]+[K] to hit throw [P]+[G], [6] to RD, [9][K]+[G], [P], [2][P], [K][K][K]
(228 damage, I think, works on all weight classes, even taka)

Now here's the big, amusing one that works from starting position, uses a wall combo, and gets you up to 275 damage:

    At starting position:
    [4][6][K], [4][3][P]+[K] to hit throw [P]+[G], [6] to RD, [P]+[K] [K], [3][P]+[K] to hit throw [P]+[G] ...

Now you should have your opponent against the wall:
    [6] to RD, [9][K]+[G] [4], backturned [K], [6][K]+[G], [4][P]+[K], [8][K], [P], [2][P]+[K], [K][K][K]

(~275 damage, works on everyone except Akira and the heavyweights, the funny part about it is that you will still be mid-combo when the timer runs out after the KO)

Hopefully I got all of that right, let me know if any of those inputs are incorrect

Any guidance on how to approach watching these? Without speaking japanese all I'm seeing is shiro doing 6p for about 20 minutes straight. I'm sure there's invaluable information here but I'm having trouble figuring out how to learn it. Anyone able to help out?

And btw here's the native youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=vit3BXDrnHM
