I can hear the resemblance. Not quite seeing it though. I guess it's just you.

BTW... if Akira had taught Chong Li the SPoD and DLC, Van Damme would've had no chance.

 

My cameraman is confirmed, ill ask him if he can bring along his equipment and shoot some footage.

I was planning to take it easy to enjoy the atmosphere, as well as getting pwn3d at VF4Evo by everyone at the party. Now I have to lug around my camera equipment at this thing?!? XD

When I'm exhausted from being a virtual punching bag (which should take about 5 minutes, if that long), I'll get some footage. Though, *what* footage someone would want from this gathering is another story. Gameplay footage? Footage of people having a good time? I'll ask you about that later.

There is no reaspon for apologize yourself. I can understand you don't have a time, so you cannot make it - just by post that here you do more that many ppl in this situation will do.

BTW I think all of you are going to some arcade to play FT at thursday? Will this will happend during e3 too?

 

Sounds like a fun gathering. If you're ok with semi-strangers crashing through your front door, I'd like to throw my hat into the ring. I do not bring much skill to the table, but will have plenty of "True tales from the E3 show floor!" to share.

 

Of course you can just show up. That's what these events are for!

This is looking to be great all the way around. VF is the shit!

 

Out of curiosity...

1.) Has a joystick mishap, such as a wire falling loose, occurred during a past party?

2.) Has anyone bothered bringing an emergency repair kit (soldering iron, desoldering iron, solder, wires, etc.) to the party at all in the past?

My cafe just got booked for May 13th for a GGXS / SF3 tournament ! Good news for my cafe but i wont be able to attend /versus/images/graemlins/tear.gif I will miss my chance to beat up Zero and Fishie and steal their E3 passe- nevermind...

Anyways thank you plague for the offer, I will hold you up on it one day! Also the cheapest tickets i could find wewre 300-355 round trip which isnt so bad.

Okay so, this sounds exciting and all but I live in Oregon and would like some more details before I decide if I'm coming down or not. First off, is this a tournament, or just a jamboree party type thing? Also, is there a cost at the door? And finally, if it is a tournament, is there a prize for the winner? Thanks a lot.

Anouncement will be made before E3, I dont think the home versions will be at E3, its too soon for that.
From what I understand Sega brought a cab to the US already but it might stay in San Fran insteaf of being showcased at E3.
We rather hope they will bring it over and have it at their booth though.

What is it doing at San Francisco? Are they testing it in the arcades there? or just sitting there at SOA?

Right now this is a jamboree party type thing. No plans for a tournament. One could be thrown together during the event - but it would be for free and for bragging rights only. Show up anyway for lots of VF. These things usually run till the sun comes up.

In response to <font color="blue">growcian</font> - I have the makings of a repair kit here - but certainly not everything. I do have an iron and solder. Maybe some wire. Got wire-strippers, too.
