Do you still believe in VF5R for consoles?

Tbh I didn't/don't expect an announcement for VF5R til September or so, during TGS most likely. But if SEGA announced it pre/during E3 it would mean they are giving us westerns some recognition

 

Don't know if this is a good or a bad thing... Could be either if you really think about it.

I just got an email from SEGA west inviting me over to their new forums... When I got there, I was disappointed to see there is no VF5 thread like there was on the forum before...

If you go to the archive you will see it used to be a topic.

That could be a real bad sign, or it could be a good sign (maybe they will add the VF5R thread as soon as it's announced?) I don't know what to think of that...

a surprise would be a game like Jet Set 3, or Shenmue 3

no surprise would Yakuza3 or Vf5R

I think it's between both of these and I would say the deletion of a VF5 board as a good sign

checking these forums everyday hoping for an announcement. My hopes are high and if Sega doesn't announce something, I'm afraid the franchise is over for us Americans. PLEASE Sega, the one truly great fighting game needs more exposure here! This is your chance while fighters are popular again!!!!!!

Yeah, there's no VF5 thread/topic on their new forum... I have an account on the SEGA USA forums and I got email, late yesterday, directing me to their new forums. But when I followed the link to their new site, I immediately noticed there wasn't a VF5 thread anymore.

I also noticed that people were posting in the VF5 thread, on the old forum, all through May 2009, right up to the switchover; so why no VF5 thread?

Just seems strange... There was a Yakuza 2 thread though...

In my head I'm thinking it could mean nothing... Could be a sign they aren't going to bring the game to console and they don't care to have the VF5 thread anymore... Could be a sign that they have to change the title of thread and they're waiting until R is announced to add it.

If it is between VF5R and Yakuza 3, I have no idea what to think... (I've never even played Yakuza and don't give a shit if it comes out...) But, if you think about it in a positive way, why leave the Yakuza 2 thread and get rid of the VF5 thread for any other reason than one of the games' title is changing; and it's not Yakuza 2...

Yakuza 3 for the West would be good news, and you are seriusly missing out if you never played Yakuza.

It's the most balls-to-the-walls, batshit insane game ever. It's better than Shenmue in my opinion, and everybody here should try it out.
