Well, I wasn't actually suggesting they full out "owe" us everything, just that they, at the least, should listen to us, the consumers. "They owe us everything" also sounds more badass than "They should listen to us". Of course, we don't dictate what goes or doesn't go into a game. The designers/directors/etc who make the game are being paid the big bucks for a reason. They know what they're doing. It's still important for them to get feedback. If the consumer doesn't like how difficult the game is, or the game's controls, or whatever, it's up to the consumer to make their voice heard and the developer to listen. That's all I was getting at with my last post.

Now, seriously, where's my tea? >.>

I would NOT put them in wikipedia, for a couple of reasons.

First I raised this who thread to get the questions answered:

Why were these features taken out (to verify if they were)
And will they be put back in.

Its really a disscusion in and among the VF community. Since the facts are sketchy, and statements incomplete Putting it in Wikipedia would pollute
the quality that Wikipedia tries to maintain

Also if Sega patches VF5 for the PS3 (through some online mechanism) or they release these features in a VF5.5 version then the entire discussion is mute.

No need to complicate the Wikipedia entry for VF with any of this under those circumstances.

On the other hand if it turns out that these features are infact not present (I haven't found them yet. Rank Avenger, 1071 fights and counting) and Sega has no intention of ever putting them back in, then in that circumstance it would merit a wikipedia entry.

I think this plagues all who have ever heard the phrase.

The word is moot. Mute would imply that the discussion cannot speak, which it can't.
