i feel like taking out the character useage chart completely . . .

Yah, get rid of the chart. Leave it blank or put up the bathroom stall pic with El Blaze instead.

Ya, ive looked at the bt dvd and its just crammed (which i dont think its a good thing). I just wanted to simplify more and leave the rest of the information to inserts and on the dvd. I think with the smaller amount of players we have percentage bars might look really obtuse. The player listing and country location thing might be interesting to chart out and map. I dont have a BT dvd where they put a tourney bracket, but i have no idea how they fit that in, or how i can fit ours in. Double elim style really takes up space !!

Maybe we can get more peoples opinions on what they like to see on the backside so we can reach a compromise.

I liked it better before. Even if you wanna use pic of Jacky, I think there are better ones than this

ok since i cant really change the inherant gayness of jacky and of course theres no other hi res art available. . . . (anyone willing to share press kits?) I've changed the backside again -hopefully one last time. (edit again nm it still bugs me somehow, ill tweak it again later - more suggestions)

I like the contenders list (I also liked the Jacky pic). I suggest putting something like Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution Tournament and maybe the dates of the event on the cover of the DVD case and the DVDs themselves. Doesn't have to be big and I think it would be cool to identify the contents. I know that the contenders will know what this DVD set is about - the labeling is to identify it for people that weren't there.

after myke let me on a wild goose chase of content mayhem, i returned to my original old old old design, KISS - keep it simple stupid. Ogi, SH_,and akiralove for the win.

I tried the putting a date on the cover and it looked like a tombstone. lol I'll keep it in mind when i finish making my trailer.

 

Maybe Im getting hard of hearing at my old age, but what the hell is the guy saying in that logo vid? Maybe edit the background noise so it becomes clearer. I would also slow it down some..Maybe make the ball form up for a while then the vfdc text. Similiar to the THX ball on certain dvd's

Agree with Talis on putting VF4 Evolution name somewhere on the cover. For people that have no idea what the dvd is about.

I think the character usage chart is a good idea for people wanting to know if there character is on the dvd

i'll clean up the sound a little but, im no audio technician, but i think i can do something with it.

as for slowing it down - i dont think anyone wants to stare at any logo too long. DVD cover art is basically final btw - especially the front side. Backside should be taking care of any extra information. I'll probably edit text in the back sometime soon (for more accurate info), but no new content.
