Exactly. But the enire point of my post was that its not a noob strategy, its a strong strategy. And its very hard to stop. All those exceptional players that i've listed that use the strategy, i use it back against them, and as often as not they get caught in it too.

Yeah it's not noob. It's a very strong strategy. I don't think any strategy is really "noob" unless you keep doing it over and over.

Which is kind of funny though, cause doing something over and over works if your opponent respects you enough to think you'll actually change it. One of the cool things about playing opponents that are on close to equal level of play and knowledge.

I think nothing is cheap or noob. Even if you do a tactics for the 102nd time in a row. There are very good obsessive, stoic players out there that are able to keep repeating traps that can drive players crazy. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Jeffry or Wolf, are good characters for people that like to play like that. The damage reward for their moves are worth trying the setup over and over and over.

Spamming P (2P)-> Throw was named "Noob's tactic" because it's effective, and at the same time is simple(not need very advanced mind-game/anticipating), so many beginners players(especially Wolf's players-strong throw(GS) and staggering mid strikes) use it.
And i think in VF5 P and 2P moves became more strong then they were in VF4...and i tnink they need some fixing (I am relying on VF5R).
