@Rodnutz, it looks like it might be the first weekend of october, saturday or sunday.

 

Doing all the basic NH and on block Mila frame data atm, will probably post up a thread in Mila forum with it. Hopefully people can add to/correct it etc. She's super negative on block.

Edit: I've been hit by a lot of those combos already, blasted VF DOAer's...

Edit2: All basic frame data on Mila has been completed, including feints and at distance frame differences for certain moves.

And is it just me, or does Akira's damage output seem really low compared to everyone else.?

 

It's hard to win with Akira in DOA, he's not terribly good imho. Sarah and Jacky are beasty tho..

 

Not really... I think its about the same.

 

I hear you, although from what I've seen of seen of great DOA players like DestructionBomb, SlyBass and Galen the Wise-Akira can be a complete monster in this system...

It's inspiring to see them make him work on there...If any other Akira-players here are into DOA too, check them out.

 

Seems like i've been able to get someone @ FSD to do Rachel's frame data, there is hope after all!!

 

For anyone who hasn't played/tried DOA5U yet, a few important reminders:

Akira: I can't use him like in that one video but I can tell you this: NO instant 100% damage body-check. He can get good damage but you gonna have to work. Personally, I think he just went back to what he used to be before he got steroid-ed to hell; somewhat predictable but you'll have to be able to use his tools effectively if you want to get the most out of him. However since I'm not a pure-blooded diehard Akira user it's probably not for me to say...

Jacky: Dude always seemed solid even before his ascension to Super-Saiyan in FS. Here in Ultimate however he has NO Level 3 Super Art Counter-hit Somersault Kick to save his butt however, his + does ridiculous counter-throw damage (if someone whiffs a hold/reversal). He's also a "predictable" jabroni but he does good pound for pound damage with his strings. He can get a Axe Kick re-rise but only on his counter-hit floats. The re-rise is possible but I don't hit that consistently enough; probably should try a counter-hit floating situation.

I can't say much about Pai except her stuff is kinda funky, and obviously the difference between FS Sarah and DOA Sarah is basically a 5-star dinner (DOA5 Sarah) and a big pile of steaming stinking monkeycrap (FS Sarah).

Again, for vets and rookies alike; don't let the fact you won't get those instant wins from Day 1 discourage you from at least trying DOA5U. I mean, it ain't VF5FS...but neither is SSF4, or KOF13, or SC5, or BB, or 3s, or even Skullgirls or Divekick.

 

Marie Rose is that new character they added for the arcade version which I though was going to be Vanessa lol.

 

I can't believe they just made a clone of Eileen before bringing her into their game. !!!!!! I told them to put Eileen in or a monky kung fu char back in NEC a while back.

She did eileen's zenk throw move sooo I think I might get this one. Bonus points if I can make her look like eileen in one of her costumes.

 

@Tricky-Well, looks like they're prepping for DOA x VF-she'll be Eileen's rival! lol

Via this new character, it marks the first appearance of the Russian Military Martial Art of Systema in a fighting game!...Yet, with the most unlikely wielder? lol
