Dead or Alive 5: Last Round

messing around with core fighters and i think little things like having to press r3 to view a demo in command training when i don't have an r3 button on my stick is pretty dumb.

 

unless the game comes from an european developer/publisher. but most of those games aren't enjoyable…

 

I feel the same way I use a fight pad and I don't have the R3 function either it sucks to not know what the move in question should look like. I might just play with a normal controller in command training just to get the R3 function.

 

hmm its out on xbox marketplace (uk) maybe its just placed in an absurd section of the ps store thing?

 

It took me awhile to find the F2P version myself on US PSN for a bit it isn't where one would think it is if you applied any common sense. I found the retail version quickly but I didn't find the F2P version until I was about to quit looking for it.

 

It IS in the PSN store here too. It just cannot be bought or downloaded..

Make a U.S. PSN account and download it like that Manji. I've downloaded a japan only demo from my jp psn account.

 

I found it on the F2P section of the store, the problem is that it took me ages to actually find this section. I hate the new PSN layout.

 

Oh man i'm watching the archive for TFC and the commentary is hilarious. "Nobody knows JACKY"! They are acting like tech rolling is some great feat on commentary as well hahahaha. Lets see how the rest of this goes, i'm ROFL.

edit: hahahahahaha now Rachel is too slow to deal with Jacky. this commentary LOL.

Edit2: Finished the archive, don't think any of those guys are qualified to say who is or isn't broken. Jacky string spam beasting folks, about 2 people used fuzzy once or twice, basically nobody got guaranteed punishes. Switch nation in every set. I'll have to start checking that jp stream for DOA matches...

 

Shoutouts to @BLACKSTAR . I heard you were wrecking people at TFC with that Sarah. Had me worried there a couple times during our matches. Good stuff and hope to see more of you.

The DOA top 8 was so hype, I don't think I've ever heard a crowd so excited to cheer for a virtua fighter character before. Good stuff to all the competitors and such strong matches for only having the game released for close to two weeks.

It's also select and one of the triggers.r1 I think. They patched it in for vanilla, but yeah they don't ever actually tell you in game about it.

 

Top 8 was hype there was definitely a lot of "Yyyyeeeeaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!!" coming from the crowd. The Jacky love was greatly appreciated!

 

Tom Lee was laughing it up at all the excitement. The "Yeeeeeeeeeeeahhhhhhhh!"s were muted on the stream. I re-watched and I'd say amplify them by 150% and you'd get how loud it was.

 

I could hear them pretty loud on the stream. The crowd was getting hype with Busa's izuna drops too, but to a lesser extent xD

I tried Youtubing it, but can't find it. So I'm guessin I have to watch it on Twitch?.?

@Rodnutz I was thinking of driving up to New York next weekend to meet up with you and go over the game. Possible to make a gathering of it with you, me, @virtuaPAI , rabies, and possibly some other fellow trainees from PA I'd pick up on the way.

Might have to be one of the days the following weekend as some of the new jersey guys are interested in participating in said gathering.
