    Ok, back on the combo lists after being absent a while.

    Still plenty of work to be done, a lot of my own stuff needs adding and testing and there's still stuff that you guys have posted here that I need to take a look at but anyway...

    I need a favour if any of the resident Akira's are up to it!

    There's some launchers that I never made or had notes for that are really lacking, like the [3][K] Side CH category.

    Hey Feck. I think in this combo ([​IMG][​IMG] (Side CH) → [​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG][​IMG] ) [4][3][P] can be added after the [2][1][4][P] against lightweights. I'll experiment a little bit but pretty sure it does connect fine.

    Ok, I did test out the combos now. Here are my combos off side crumple


    1. [3][K][6][6][2][1][4][P][6_][P][4][3][P][2_][6][P][P] = 102 DMG (against Jean = 108 <- don't ask me why :))

    2. [3][K][6][6][2][1][4][P][6_][P][4][3][P][6][6][K][K] = 100 DMG (+6 dmg against Jean)

    3. [3][K][6][6][2][1][4][P][6_][P][4][3][P][4][P][P][+][K] = 98 DMG (+6 Jean)

    4. [3][K][6][6][2][1][4][P][6_][P][4][3][P][K][+][G][P] = 98 DMG (+6 Jean)

    5. [3][K][6][6][2][1][4][P][6_][P][4][3][P][6_][P][2_][4][6][P] = 97 DMG (+6 Jean)

    6. [3][K][6][6][2][1][4][P][6_][P][4][3][P][6_][P][K][+][G]![G] = 94 DMG

    These combos work on everyone except Jeffry and Goh. I found that for some reason, it will work against them only if you OM towards the back of Akira (1P side: Outward / 2P side: Inward) An alternate combo I have for them is (this also works against Taka):

    7. [3][K][6][6][2][1][4][P][6_][P][2_][6][P][P] = 90 DMG

    Something to note as well, the [6_][P] has to be delayed slightly against El Blaze and Jeffry. It isn't 1 frame because I tried inputting [6][6] after [2][1][4][P] and I never got the bound off [4][3][P]. I don't know why there is a problem but if [6_][P] is buffered after [4][3][P], it just whiffs.

    On counter hit it does the same amount of damage against Jean, not more. You get more damage in training mode because of jean's kick that's used so your attacks register as a counter hit.

These can be started as NH and CH, and in either open or closed stance, attacking either the left or right side (that last one is a pretty important factor)

    This combo might've been previously known but just in case it's hidden knowledge, I'll post it. This combo only works against 3 characters unfortunately :(, Brad, Lei and Goh.

    1. [4][6][P][4][P][6_][P]1FK[2][K][+][G][P]![P] = 71 dmg (NH)
    2. [4][6][P][4][P][2][P][2][K][+][G][P]![P] = 70 dmg (NH)

    For other middleweights, I have an alternative combo for them:

    3. [4][6][P][4][P][6_][P]1FK[2_][6][P][P] = 69 dmg
    4. [4][6][P][4][P][2][P][2_][6][P][P] = 68 dmg

    Combos 3 and 4 go green with Jacky for some reason :confused: so have to settle to using a DLC ender or something.

    For combo 3, I struggle to get it working consistently because of the required CD buffer for [6][P][P], I can't input [6][6] or [1][1] (1FK) along with the CD buffer for [6][P][P] fast enough :(, anyone know of an alternative way to kill a frame?

    Think they're up on the combo list now, been working my way through all the ones people have posted here.

    For 1fk 2_6pp I input it as 3336p. Kinda roll between the last 3 and 6, normally I'd go back to neutral here.

    Yeah, I found rolling the stick (I use [1][1] for my CD buffers) to [6] made it work slightly better but still, not 100% consistency :(. It's no biggie really since substituting the [6_][P] with [2][P] only is -1 on damage and no need for 1fk if 2P is used. I had a look at the combo page, I know you have the [2][P] combos but I didn't see the [6_][P] ones so that's why I posted them :).

    Ahh yeah you're right. Any chance you know who they work and what stance? I know the 2p > 2k+gpp one only worked on Brad in both stances and was pretty inconsistent vs most middleweights.

    2p>2k+g, p!p works on Goh and Lei as well. Last hit whiffs on all other middleweights. I did the combos in the default closed stance. I'll try open stance with other middleweights, might work with them.

    Ok, I did some further testing with the combos I posted above on lightweights. I found that it does connect but needs a 1FK on some characters after 46p so the way I'd input it is [4][6][P][4][4][P][6_][P]1FK[2][K][+][G][P]![P]. I can confirm that it works on Pai in closed stance. Also found that without the 1FK between 46p and 4p, the combo also works on Shun. All this was tested in closed stance. Tbh though, max damage out of these combos is 71 so considering on lightweights you can do [4][6][P][P][K][+][G]![G][2][P][2_][4][6][P] which does 73 damage and much easier in execution, I'd only revert to the other combo if I want to look stylish :)

    Ok, so I tested two combos on all the lightweights, here they are, along with notes:

    1. [4][6][P][4][4][P][6_][P][6][6][5][2][K][+][G][P]![P] = 71 Dmg

    [4][4] = 1fk

    [6][6] = 1fk

    This combo works on all lightweights (Pai, Sarah, Lion and Vanessa). It only works in closed stance. The [6_][P] whiffs in open.

    For Shun, no 1fk is needed in [4][P], only needed after [6_][P] for triple slap.

    For Eileen and Aoi, this combo does work but timing is tricky for [6_][P]. I can't get a 1fk before [6_][P] because I input it as [6][6] and I nearly always end up with DE :( but it does work but just need to figure out to how to kill 1f without ending up with [4][P], DE or [2_][6][P]

    For open stance, just replace the [6_][P] with [2][P] so it will look like this (this combo also works in closed stance as well):

    2. [4][6][P][4][4][P][2][P][6][6][5][2][K][+][G][P]![P] = 70 Dmg (Pai, Sarah, Lion and Vanessa)

    For Eileen, Aoi, 1fk is needed before [4][P] and also for [2][P]. So for them, it will look like this:

    [4][6][P][4][4][P][1][1][P][K][G][6][6][5][2][K][+][G][P]![P]

    For El Blaze, remove the 1fk before [4][P] but leave the 1fk for [2][P] so it will look this for El Blaze:

    [4][6][P][4][P][1][1][P][K][G][6][6][5][2][K][+][G][P]![P]

    The combo wiki doesn't have any entries on combos starting with Akira's one frame knee. Can a section be added for it?

    Didn't see much need for it, move doesn't seem to have many practical uses to me. I have a good idea what works and what doesn't from the yoho combo's though so I guess I could add the basic combos for the weight groups.

    Won't be adding max damage though, finding vids of them would be impossible since no one seems to use the move and I don't have much time to devote to testing right now.

    I'm gonna cite a situation I've seen and stuff other people have mentioned to me too...

    But isn't the 1frame knee Akira's best low punisher? I mean, it launches, 17 frames which means it can respond to A LOT OF LOWS like Jacky's sweep.

    Also, while it's not an easy thing to do, some Portland players consider it a good whiff punisher, especially when punishing a whiffing high attack.

    I'm citing other people here, but I've been nailed with the knee in both situations--having my high attack whiff and after having my sweep blocked.

    I would imagine that the knee is a good move that should have a combo list.

    Well, I'm exaggerating with "best low punisher" but... 17 frames is really good, if you have the execution down.

    Wish I knew the difference in yoho and knee combo damage though.

    Regardless, I still think knee is worthy of a combo list, hope more people chip in ^_^
