From what I was reading a few days ago, the XBox 360's only advantage over the PS3 will be in its earlier release. It's slated to come out around Christmas this year, with the PS3 scheduled for around summer of next year. The PS3 is apparently much more powerful than the XBox 360.

With PS3 coming out midway through next year, that's still plenty of time for a home port to be made on it.

The only thing I didn't like in that article was how it said PS3 might cost US $500 when it comes out. Although the price will inevitably come down a little bit by the time VF5 is on it, I am wondering if the reason we haven't seen a FT home port might be because they've decided to make it a PS3 launch title. After all, there are already two versions of VF4 on PS2, who's gonna buy a third besides us? Making it a launch title on a next gen system would grant it renewed attention.

Was lots of fun last sunday, lots of good matches all around. That damn Brad gets 7 guaranteed hits on me. Ow.

I'm glad I found some time to work on Quest mode while we were there. I'm tired of playing with ugly Sarahs when I come down. lol.

So as our old friend Akai is coming down on the 17th, we are making that date as our official final gathering of the year 2005.


As an appreciation for supporting the VF scene in the Columbus& Ohio in the past year, we will get together, play good VF, have a little tounrey, get some nice food, and do much more.


It will start at 1:00 PM on Sat at SH_'s place. Bring your stick and PS2 if you can. We will need multiple setups as people who will be there are the following


Maddy(Akira), SH_(Brad), Akai(Pai), AviH20(Aoi), Seriousface(Wolf), BloodBlaze(Jacky), 2 guys from Cincinatti, and Moses(Shun).


The above is a confirmed list so far, and the guys I haven't gotten confirmations from but will likely to be there are..

Dandy_J(Kage), Purpguy(Sarah), and Painty_J(Van)



With a small chance, we might have a special guest of

Yosuke(Jacky) from PA. That's left to be planned out as of today.

Hell yeah biznitches. I'll bring ps2 and even a tv if we have need. It's not very big but it works.

Well i gotta bring VCR too in that case as tv has no RCA plugz. Unless someone's got a PS2 box to screw on the back of the tv, cuz I sure don't.

Akira_PH from IL is considering making a trip to Columbus. It'd be great if he could make it. Updates are coming up.


Still haven't heard from Dandy_J though. Whether or not he's going to be Homestaying is still remained to be seen.

Dandy_J is confirmed.

There will be 7 people coming from Cincinatti, 1 from Cleveland,1 from IL and 7 from Columbus.

Thx goes to Mike and Akai for making this event. I had a great time. With the Cinci crew, it was blah for me, but I am moving on. Obviously, the good things outweighed the bad things at the gathering.






All in all, it was plain awesome with about 10 people . The event made me realize how lucky I am to be able to hang out and play with the group of people in Columbus. Thx guys.
