Why SH_ hates where he's living (venting pt 2)?

well, anyone who has talked to me seen me or looked at me for the past couple of months or so knows I have insomnia. So today, I FINALLY beat it and I have never been more angry. So I got to sleep at 11 pm, and when I wake up, the phone is making this loud beeping sound and it says 1 on the clock so in my mind, I go "TIGHT, I just slept for 14 hours, now I have to start getting ready for work". Upon further inspection of the situation, I knew immediately of my false optimism: it was 1 am in the morning, I had slept for 2 hours, and my 1 1/2 yr old niece had been fucking around with the new phones base because page was the largest button it. I hate everything and everyone, and the best part, since my body is used to sleeping around 2 hrs each night now, I am completely awake.

Just posting in here to say I'm leaving the columbus area soon, because I got a new job working on TANKS!!!1!! up in Lima, working full-time now. This week will be my last full week in columbus, so if anyone's available on thursday for some kickass final matches, I'm game.

Doesn't look like I'm going to make it down for the tourney this weekend. A long, stressful week of weather changes and waking up early to go in to work to learn a new computer inventory system has come to a fitting end with me getting so sick today that I actually had to call off work, something I try to avoid if at all possible.

I doubt I'll be feeling better by tomorrow. It's going to be one of those weekends where I don't leave the house for anything.

Seeya around Chuck, gonna miss you and your Vanessa. Seemed to be a pretty even matchup for my Sarah. Maybe we'll get to do it again sometime. Until then, have fun fixing tanks! I know I would.

What can I say man. Thx for everything including saving my sticks numerous times. I guess you getting a better job is something to congraturate you on even though we won't get to hang out as often in the future. =) This'd be something that people call mixed feeling.

Hey, good luck in Lima, Ohio in which everything you try to acheive, and holla at us here from time to time with your life stories and stuff. You will be missed.

Hey Sean, I finally ordered some Sanwa buttons. From the looks of it, all you had to do to modify the Virtua Stick was take a pair of pliers and pull the connectors off the old buttons and put them on the new buttons. Is that really all there is to it, or is there something else I should know about?

Aside from filing down the sides of the button, that is. All I need to be sure of is the wire-changing process. It looks like it'd be pretty simple, but I don't wanna end up breaking anything.

it's pretty damn simple mike but I warn you this, the button connectors wires aren't the tightest thing in the world so you may wanna put electrical tape on the connectors before you pull them, also, realize that once you have them on there there is like no room unless you do a couple of things: A) bend the tabs so they are facing sideways, everything still works fine and all, and I'd recommend that. B) you can file the buttons down but that can be far more dangerous, it's up to you though.

Talked to Adidas on Aim today. He might come here on the third weekend of June. I also PMed Joey. We might have a big gathering again in June if all things get worked out well.

P.S. VF's still going on pretty much weekly or bi-weekly in C-bus regardless of existence of posts about gathering in this thread. Get a hold of me or SH_ if you want to play VF, and VF will be played. I woudn't know if I don't hear anything even if someone wants to play.

There's no end of training if your goal is to continue to get better.

Unfortunately, this month is not going to be a good month for VF for me. I'm moving to a new house in Delaware this month, and most of the moving is going to take place on the third weekend of the month. So I'm going to have to miss that weekend.

After things settle down, though, I should start coming around again. It's been kinda hectic around here lately.

I'll be down there on fri, the 24th (between 4-8pm) and, (if I can be housed) I'll be leaving on sun, the 27th, at like, 3-4 pm. I'll be looking forward to playing lots of good players. New and intense comp. is the best there is. I'm really excited about playing you again. Ya'll bettah watch yo' backs, homies. (yeah, right, I'll probably get triple perfected every freakin' match.)

you need to add P, 6P the list. Then, you become immortal.

Drag as many people with you in MI if possible.

yo Jimmy, I reordered the buttons so hopefully SOMETHING will be here some day before June 24, I used my buttons to mod Jason's stick, and I will tell you this, he is a very happy guy /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif. I got over my ghetto stick modding and now my stuff looks as nice as it plays.
