    Hey, Painty.
You might want to stop by Sean's or LLG depending on where they are(you should check ahead of time) to get some VF in. Geoff's Brad is waiting for you.

    P.S. DE is dashing elbow(f,f,P)

Good games all. Nice to see Geoff again. You got better again in short period of time. Good games. I wanted to see Painty vs Geoff again, but maybe next time.

BTW, I will take a quarter break from school in March. I've been going to school for 3 straight years while working, and I feel like getting really burned out. Anyways, I will be able to hang out with you guys more often.

    Can't wait for FT.

Chuck and I were pretty close this time as well. It's ashame he had to leave early. Thanks for the compliment Maddy, but as for Brad. I think I am going to tune him a bit until FT comes out, and try him then. Until then I am going to train with everyone but use Jacky as my main still.

That is good that you are getting off of school in March, Maddy. Hopefully we can play more, or you guys can come down to the Nati.

Anyways, fun times guys. Was a pleasure.

    Re: gathering

What I recommend to improve your game fast would be

    1. Reading FAQs on the site is helpful. Even though, I've read whatever available already, everytime I read it again I find something new or get to understand things that I couldn't beforehand.

2.Watch as many clips as possible. As you get better and better, strong players' game will make more sense to you. Keep watching them.

3.Practice your combo and techniques in the Training mode. It might look less fun to practice in the training mode than play Quest mode, but playing Quest won't make your techniques better quickly. Some techniques take a long time to master, so you want to do it on a regular basis. (e.i fuzzy guard, TEs, stance combos...etc)

    4. If you have any question, feel free to msg me, Dandy, or any others. If I don't know answers, chances are I'd know where to find them.

    5. Even though you are like 2 hours away from competition, I consider it's not too bad. I used to play Kumite alone for about 5 months before I met the others in OH, and I did things above to improve on my own. It's fairly easy to improve quick if you try to absorb what's out there at this point since there are many media and information available.

Keep it up, Geoff. I am looking forward to seeing you again soon.

P.S. Painty: Good games. Sorry I couldn't make it on Sunday. See you next time.

    Re: gathering

I think 2 weeks from now, I will be in Columbus (March 13-14 weekend...). That or three weeks from now.

Geoff: If u will be coming up to Columbus this coming month, let me know which weekend is better for you and I try to go on that weekend. Last weekend of March is no good for me since I will be in Washington D.C. for 5 days or so.

...And what Maddy mentioned about rereading faqs and stuff...that is a very good idea, since playing the game against the same people sometimes make you forget other aspects of the game. I recommend Hiro's memorandum and the Game's basic tutorial. Best challenge mode practice, can be the fuzzy guard practice and recognizing guarantee throw situations.

There is always a solution to every aspect in VF even for the TFT (even though the solution isn't that great /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

    Re: gathering

I actually read technique and character training a lot at work. I haven't been able to play practice mode too much because of working so much, but I will try to keep up as much as possible.

Akai - I'd like to try to go to Colombus every two weeks or so. If the 13-14 is good for you. I can most likely be there.

See you guys soon. Thanks for the tips.

My tips: use the force, find religion, just say no to drugs, drink plenty of milk, sex it up often, and above all else, pay attention for some kind of radioctive beam eminating from you telivision/ pc monitor for they r most likely, the work of trolls (technologically advanced trolls, but trolls none the less).

(ACTUAL) tips: if u have problem characters, research them. if u have problem techs, practice em. If u r intimidated by koreans.................... play me more /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

March 13-14 weekend will be fine for a gathering. I will have a visitor from March 15th, so close to zero time for VF on that week. I got my finals on 10-12 of March, so I'd like to get refreshed with fun VF weekend afterwards.
