Things don't totally look good on my side as of now. Sorry for making things confusing and all that because of me.

I heard the Japanese players will fly over to NYC tomoroow. This event will be great for sure.

I don't think anyone mind rooming with other people at all. It is all good.

Anyone knows how friday's weather will be like?

Koji's sticks

Well sean (or shawn or however you prefer it spelled), I got your sticks dissected and put back together. I kept the kick from the red stick and the punch and guard from the blue stick, and put them back into the red stick. On the blue stick, I put all the other buttons back. I'll try to get them to you ASAP, but how can I? Worst comes to worst, I can give you your sticks back on friday when you all meet to head to NY, provided it's at 2 oclockish.

I go in to work at 2:30 every day during the week, and dont get home till midnight. Leave me instructions on how I can get your sticks back to you.

Where do you work? Maybe Avi can open up LLG early and you can stop by sometime this week before you go to work? Either that, or we can catch up to you at work and get them from you. Let us know.

Update: The red stick plays like new now, and the blue one is pretty good except for the kick button.

I found out how to remove the switches from the button housing, and it turns out that the grey buttons as well as start and select appear to use the same switch underneath the housing. Do you want me to take the switches out of the blue stick's select, L3 and R3 buttons and replace the P K and G switches with them?

I work in Reynoldsburg, at Dynalab. 555 Lancaster Avenue, if you're REALLY wantin to be specific. Anyways, I think I got his stuff all in check now. I just got done playtesting the red stick, and I can't feel much of a problem with the buttons (either I'm not paying close enough attention, or the buttons work fine.)

So now I'm just waitin to see if he wants me to start cannibalizing parts from his other switches

Maddy, did you want me to try to replace the punch button on yours? If you got a VF4 Evo stick, I can just take the switch out of one of the grey buttons and put it in for your punch, but if you got one of the non-evo sticks I think the replacement switches will have to come from the start/select buttons.

Srry I haven't posted recently, been busy, and sanz computer. At any rate, Jason lives near LLG and if he would be kind enough to PM u directions 2 his house, than u can give him stick, he can give me stick, so forth, so forth, etc., etc. As far as switch replacement on the blue, if u think it would help, go for it. Well, I'm gonna work on the stick again after I get off work tonight. I'll desolder the buttons again and replace the switches in the main 3 buttons with the switches from R3, L3, and Select.

Then you'll have 2 sticks that are pretty near new condition. I only regret that I couldn't take the buttons apart and actually FIX the switches, but I can't get the switches apart without destroying them, so I wont try.

I have an Evo stick(red) with a broken punch button. If you think you have a chance to take a look at it, I will leave it at LLG so that next time you come, you will take it home. Using different buttons for a P button sounds good to me. It is basically dead in my mind, so you can work on it without any hesitation or pressure. You got good skill, Chuck.
