Oh yeah...dont doubt that I didn't have fun guys...I had a blast. Loved every minute of gettin my keester whipped. Next time I hope I can turn the odds a bit more in my favor, like say, a 10% win ratio instead of 1% :0D

Great group you have there though, Columbus has some fine VF players

Good games dude! What Sean said, come to LLG whenever you can, you'll get awesome at VF in no time. Just make sure you ask questions and stuff, and I'm 100% we'll be able to answer them, you'll learn fast.

Have you gone through Vanessa's trial/tactics advice yet? If you haven't, I highly reccomend that you should. Unlike other fighting games, the tips that VF gives you are actually GOOD, I'm serious! There's some awesome strategies in there, so take a look at them if you haven't already. In the meantime, I'm going to study up on some Vanessa combos to show you next time.

P.S Your skill at Amplitude sizzles. I bet those crazy reflex and accuracy will help you play VF and others. =)

Yeah, I've been through Vanessa's intermediate training stuff...the combo and attack series trainings. Where do you think I learned the mid-level roundhouse followed up by her short uppercut into a throw combo?

Not that I pulled it off more than once...I kept trying, but every time I threw the mid roundhouse, you guys didn't block it! I was gettin frustrated, because I wanted you to block that attack so I could lay down the real hurtin /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Maddy: Those amplitude skills really help out, like you thought. You should see me with the shock rifle in ut2k3, or the rail in Q3A...Quick reflexes and a steady hand, baybeee /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you guys brush up on Amp, I'll be happy to provide some opposition and tips whenever possible. That game's a bit more straightforward than VF though, so by the time you guys start gettin REALLY good you will probably have found all the tips yourselves /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Back to VF: I hope that in the 2 or 3 weeks I have till I can make it to LLG again, I'll get enough time to really crunch on Vanessa. Haven't had much time lately because of college and work, but now that I'm on break I'll have lots more free time.

And remember kids: If you don't wanna get hit with a big damage combo, either dodge or counter her , or at least take it in the face and techroll or roll...Do NOT try to counterattack, because if she pulls a afterwards, you're hosed.

OK. The I love VF tourney in NY is too tempting to get by. I will have to go if Minami comes to the state. It is like following my destiny. LOL

Anyhow, I think it would be better if all of us can go, since there will be Minami for myself, Kyasao for Dandy J, and Heruru for Kojiro, and most importantly
we can drive. From the last experience, it would only take about 10 hours if we take the right route. If we have 4 people driving it wouldn't be that of a big deal.

Johnnie: I know you are thinking of going to E8, but if you are interested in this event, let me know your thought.

Too bad that I will have to give up on E8 if I choose to go to this event. Well, nothing is confirmed yet............

Hey all, you don't have to worry about E8 if it's an issue of time conflicting. That will be on November 15th, a fairly far cry from whenever this thing will be. If it's another reason, though, than I dunno. I <8 VF definitely sounds more worth it. *shrug*

And I really really want to go to both myself. If I could get a ride with one of you for New York, that'd be great. I'd pay for gas and everything. =)

Just keep in mind that it's going to be held in/near Manhattan, which means you know what if we drive...
