E8 is coming up. Kenji and the GGX2 crew showed me a possibility of going to E8. Since it is basically a Midwest tourney(gathering), it would be nice for us to participate and get to know the players. Post your responses. Let's not have "I might" kind of statement and backing off at the last moment. If out of 4 of us, 3 2 people excluding myself are going, I will definately go.

Hey Maddy,
Are you planning on renting a car for the trip to Cedar Rapids? I am interested in going to E8 but plane ticket is pretty expensive and I don't want to drive a 12-14? hour trip in my car. If there is going to be a carpool to E8 you think you can add me on that list?

Also this Saturday, what time would be a good time you or anyone else will be free to get some VF rounds?

This Saturday

I plan on heading out early to Columbus, so that I can get as much games in before I head out, so I will try to make it to Columbus by 10-12 pm.

Unfortunately, I will get to work on Sat morning. I don't know what time I will be able to get off from it, but as soon as I got off, I will head over to LLG. I believe that LLG opens at 12:00 PM on Sat, so I won't be late too much.

lol. Yeah I've been busy the last few days (tactics, my sister's b-day, tactics). I'll be there alot in the coming weeks hopefully, and definitely the rest of this week.

I'm also gonna try and bring it serious with that damn StarCraft. Hey, maybe you can bring your bro sometime and he can teach us stuff?

Hey guys, I'm new here...21, been playin Virtua Fighter 4 for about a year now, and playing Evo nonstop since it came out.

They really improved it leaps and bounds above VF4, just by smoothing the whole game out. That, and Quest mode is so much more rewarding than the auto-adjusting difficulty level of Kumite.

Anyways...when do you guys usually get together for gatherings? I'm available weekends (though this weekend and the next I wont be), and I'm lookin for some good VF4 players to square off with.

I play Vanessa(main), Lei-Fei, and Jacky. I kinda suck with Lei's stances, but I plan on getting better.

Oh yeah. If anyone wants to find me in the meantime, I'll be at a LAN party in 2 weeks. It's Whempys, and if you need more information hit the website for more information and directions. They're a PC-only group, but if any VF players show up I'll have my playstation along so we can get some choice gaming in.

Welcome to the forum. I am glad that you contacted to us. We have 5 players here at http://www.lanlordsgaming.com
in Columbus. The place has real nice setups with 3 PS2s and PCs. It is located on Highstreet near OSU campus. You can stop by here anytime during weekdays if you have a chance since I can assure you that someone will be there to have games in anytime.
