Good stuff guys. Sonny vs Krsjin was FUN to watch. Sonny, mix up your throws with Akira a little bit. The reason I say this b/c a lot of people LOVE spaming the 2P TO 46+PG with Akira, you don't know how many times I've seen this setup with Akira ONLINE, it haunted me for weeks until got use to it. If you go against a character with low counters, is a WRAP....Just don't rely on it to much...But, is fun to watch, lol. Other then that, I'm digging your defense and your poke game is TIGHT! Good stuff bro.

Krsjin...Your Jacky must have tap dance shoes or something, you had homeboy bobbing and weaving, SICK! Good use of the 46 P+K to the throw. You made great opportunities of your combos and setups, the thing is, Sonny knew when you was going to dodge(More or less took a chance), and bank on the opportunity of throwing you(Good read, Sonny) Your back dashing and dodging techniques are tight. Your in and out game is very similar to a Boxer(Stick and Move baby!) Good stuff guys. Keep it up!

 

Thanks for taking the time to watch these guys. And thanks ShinobiFist for the advice and compliments. It's funny cause the things you recommended to Sonny and I are so true, and others here keep saying it too haha.

Lol what's weird is, I rarely use 2K+G, K in casual play but it seems to be my panic option in tournaments. It's good, but if I don't stop throwing the second kick out without hit confirming, it's gona get me killed lol.

Another special I abuse/use too much is 6P+K, then either P or slide shuffle off that.

 

Yeah, KrsJin absolutely loves his backturned stuff. Also, if his back is to a wall, most of the time he'll go for a wall move. To be fair, they are tight. Other two main KrsJin specials are definitely the wall throw and doing various jumping mixups.

The idea is if we talk enough about you no one will bother to watch any of my vids, which is probably a good thing.

 

Now i'm no expert but i play vane and i'd like to comment a bit on Hydro's matches:

Against Shun: infatuation with Evade > Boomerang Hook. INFATUATION. To the point of continuing to use it even after it's clearly visible it's useless against shun - if he *ever* happens not to be doing a move that tech crouches and the boomerang hook actually connects (it whiffs half a dozen times in the match) he'll be back turned or upside down or hopping or flipping or god knows what else making the followup float whiff. It's so flagrant Hydro likes that sequence that KrsJin ducks on reaction (nice btw) after he hears a successful evade. My advice - if you don't like defensive moves, do evade > /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif or even plain old Bone Crush Middle.

Against Jacky: for someone who seems to exclusively play from DS (at least in those matches he is), he didn't do a single sabaki. It's Jacky ffs, everything except the sommerault and the spin kick is sabakiable, if you don't sabaki Jacky who *will* you sabaki? it's called Defensive Stance because it has **JAPANESE ANNOUNCER VOICE** PARYIIING /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif My advice - bone crush middle and shadow slicer will only get you so far, to turn the match around you *have* to use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif .

Don't know if he posts in VFdc and/or has a gamertag, somebody should tell him though cause he clearly knows what's he's doing and it's a pity to foil his play with silly flaws like that.

<u>EDIT:</u> Also, what's with the funky throws against Shun? Elbow Rush to remove drinking points.
