Catch22 : Who did you build the stick for that's going to Singapore? I've wanted to order one from you for ages but was worried about the shipping costs.

    Thank You Catch22

I got my “Catch22 stick†today, and it is excellent. I have used them all day and I am really happy with the results. They are perfect, the buttons, the stick, the layout, the base, the whole ting is perfection.
Finally I can throw those crappy grey Namco sticks away.

    Thank you very much Catch22

    I’ll second that Netrom.

    Thank You Catch22, for everything!
Just want to put my two cents to tell that this guy is super nice and 100 percent trustworthy.
I’ve played with the Catch22 super sticks today and everything feels great, I have already crushed 3 Namco sticks in my Virtua Fighter career because those moterfuckers SUCK!
I’m glad I won’t have that problem anymore.

Plus I can see Shakira’s face every time I lose to cheer me up, ahhh the perfection. /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

    Thanks again man!

Yup, you just can't get any better than Catch22 sticks, they truly are perfect. His sticks made my other sticks obsolete. Thanks Catch! for making such awesome sticks

Thanks guys... Netrom, Raider. Play the heck out of em. If you think they're good now, they play better once broken in.

Bad news for guys wanting one... SANWA is a no go! Can't get the parts.

There's no more sanwa anymore? Well then if there isnt, just hypothetically how much do they cost. I want to see if it is in my price range in the future or so. If not, I might just go with the evo stick. I heard they are pretty decent.

Catch22, try excellentcom . They apparently stock Sanwa, and don't have (or at least don't list) 50 stick minimums like coinopexpress.

Could someone who has used both the official VF4 sticks and the sanwa jlf sticks (catch's stick) compare them in terms of spring tension and stick height?

(Kaji's voice) congratulations (Rei's voice) congratulations (Asuka's voice) congratulations (Misato's voice) congratulations etc. Way to go 22, your sticks are tight as hell and in the words of Unconkable

Spring tension is basically the same (for mine anyway), but the catch stick has more height.

    Re: Thank You Catch22

Hey, dre, thanks for the reply - if you feel like going above & beyond the call of duty, could you measure the actual height on the catch stick (like, distance between the little disc and the bottom of the ball)? I'm trying to figure out how they compare to my current stick before going to all the trouble & expense to hunt one down.

Sorry, I thought you were asking about overall height at first. /versus/images/graemlins/blush.gif

This is the same on both sticks (about 1 inch).

Can someone tell me if this stick's any good?

    Ascii stick

    *crosses fingers*

I figured it's an ascii so it cant be too bad, so I just bought some just like it.

    It's horrible. Stay away.

I've never, EVER, come across or used an ASCII stick that was even half decent. Stick with Hori (or if you're lucky a Catch22) and you can't go wrong.

Hi, I'm new here to the forums and to Virtua Fighter 4. I just wanted to say that your arcade sticks look awesome Catch22. I sent you a private message about perhaps making one for me and everything.

REALLY stupid question here: do you have to have an import PS2 to use joysticks? Or is the normal North AMerican version fine? Because I might be interested in buying an Evo joystick... /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif
