All of those moves are either really slow, or decently guaranteed punishable. That's good news for Eileen, which gives her control on what to avoid or guard and take care of.

4K leaves Sarah at adv it also scrapes. 2_3P+K is also a slow move itself

Lol man are you seriously convinced?

The only reason why I win vs you is because I had made more correct choices and was able to check them. The guesses weren't in my favor, option and risk/reward wise, but I happened to pick the correct ones by fortune.

Just because I happened to be fortunate playing vs you, doesn't mean that the matchup is even. You are a good player and if you just were to make a different decision, or had been more aware of a certain situation, then I'd have been losing.

All the moves you listed including 4K (except low punch) are slower than Aois /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.

The redeeming part would be /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif which sabakis Aois /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, but if Aoi has more than 2 frames advantage then the sabaki will fail due to sabaki window being too late.

ps. Your best bet for a ground-scraping mid attack for Sarah would be /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, but its tad on the unsafe side. And even that is ONLY as fast as /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

    I thought Tricky and Slide were discussing Eileen's magic /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, not Aoi's magic /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/confused.gif

I remember when Evo was in the arcades and I was looking at Goh's move list; the special properties (sabakies, etc) made me think that he would be a good brick wall to Akira.

Turns out he was sort of poo when Evo came out, but I still cling to that old theory that Goh has an advantage over Akira.

This was about vs Eileen, but still, you're right though that 2K is one of the best. That is a big SHUN WEAPON.

Dragon Cannon also scrapes the ground...

The Dragon is also not a very fast move.

Dragon Cannon def beats 2_3P+K all the way down to where Sarah is -1.

I don't know exactly what you're trying to say to me. If you think that I'm denying the dragon as an option, that's not true. The dragon is a good option, it's also a punishable one.

I'm only stating my opinions based on experience and observations, nothing more, not what's on paper. Everyone can take whatever they want from my experiences and opinion, even if it's just a grain of salt.

You're probably a far better Sarah player than I am, so maybe you can shed some more light on the situation from your experiences than I can.

    It's all good.

Dragon cannon is about the only Sarah's move discussed here thats punishable on block, not counting not hit-confirmed /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.

ps. Best bet to beat Eileens shoulder in roughly neutral situation and close range is /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif(/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif) imo. Dragon cannon works as well, but like said, its -15 on block.

Thanks Manji. And the other moves, would be ones that easily avoidable due to slower speeds. Great adv for Eileen.

When I was posting with Tricky, I never disagreed with the moves he said that beats shoulder. I've discussed this with him before and we already knew.

What I'm trying to show to you guys overall is this:

When Character A is always using moves that's punishable, or easily avoided, while Character B does not have to, then the matchup is in favor of Character B.

In this case, Character A = Sarah. Character B = Eileen.

In the end, whomever is making correct choices will win regardless of matchup.
